First order of 61XL black ink cartridge ran out too soon; returned it and was sent replacement that also ran out too soon but lasted a little longer. Next order same thing happened and was sent replacement again after returning defective cartridge. After this happened again on next order I called to complain and was told by very rude gentleman (Latino accent) that every time that I returned a cartridge it was an old outdated one and thats why they didnt print anymore. I proceeded to tell him that every defective cartridge that I had returned was the exact same one that I received from 1ink. He called me a liar and said to take my business elsewhere. I suspect that this method of doing business is common for 1ink since it happened to me more than once and I also suspect that it has happened to many other customers. Theyre sending out old outdated ink cartridges that run out of ink before they should and if and when customers complain and return it the company says its not the one they sent them. Its quite a scam if you can get away with it. Im not sure if the owner (******) is aware of this practice or if he knows how rude this particular employee (*******?) is but he should be.

Thank you for your feedback. We take all reviews seriously and aim to address any concerns promptly. After investigating this particular claim, we found several discrepancies and believe it is important to provide clarity on the situation.Firstly, we have no record of an employee named *******. Our records show that this customer placed orders with us in 2020, 2022, and 2023, with the last order being in December 2023. Despite the customer's repeated claims that the cartridges did not print enough pages, we replaced every single cartridge as a gesture of goodwill, even when we received old, used cartridges in return.Today, I personally spoke with the customer for 40 minutes to address his concerns, as I did not see any recent transactions and was puzzled by the review. During this conversation, the customer confirmed that he did not place any new orders and the replacement sent six months ago worked perfectly and he was satisfied with it. However, he admitted to leaving a negative review as a tactic to get the company owner to call him, so he could place another order. He emphasized that we have the best products and deals, which is why he insists on ordering from us.We questioned the customer on why he wished to continue ordering from us if he believed we were scammers who sent old cartridges. His response was revealing: he wanted to keep ordering from us because we consistently provided extra replacements. Additionally, he disclosed that he used a similar tactic at Staples, returning an OEM cartridge after four months of use by falsely claiming it was defective.Given his history of making fraudulent claims and using negative reviews as leverage, we informed him that we will no longer do business with him. We advised him to find another supplier, as we cannot continue to accommodate such unethical behavior.Upon informing the customer that we would not accept a new order due to his history of fraudulent claims, he became upset and threatened to leave additional unfounded negative reviews if we did not permit him to continue ordering from us.We asked him what he hoped to accomplish by leaving unfounded reviews. He responded, "I don't gain anything, but if you refuse to let me place another order, I can at least harm your business."Our commitment is to honest and fair business practices, ensuring quality products and services for our valued customers. We will not permit individuals to exploit our company through fraudulent means.Sincerely,*********************************

I have a HP laser printer & purchased a set of toner cartridges from 1ink. These were the first aftermarket/non-OEM cartridges I have ever put in my HP printer. The 1ink cartridges leaked toner onto the rollers of the printer, the gearing in the printer, & streaked from top to bottom on the prints printed from the printer. The prints would also fold & crimp at the top corner on every print. I printed off & on for a few days in hopes that the issues would clear up. They did not. When replacing the 1ink aftermarket cartridges with HP OEM cartridges, all issues disappeared & the printer returned to proper functioning. The 1ink cartridges were defective. It took three extensive contacts (& in which supporting documentation was provided) to get 1ink to provide a return label, all the time 1ink stating that it is most often the fault of the printer, they will thoroughly examine the cartridges for any defect including reading the microchip, will deny a refund if too much toner has been used, & will deny a refund if 1ink determines that the cartridges are not defective.I printed the Supplies Status report for my ************** might want to, as well, if you have a return with 1ink). In the few days I was attempting to get the cartridges to work, 50 pages were printed using 2% of toner. None of those pages were useable. After returning the cartridges, 1ink only provided a partial refund. Ultimately, I had to send the documentation to my credit card & file a dispute, which resulted in a full credit for the charge. If you dont have a printer which can verify the amount of toner a cartridge uses, or have concern about having to spend the money to have your printer serviced due to cartridges leaking into the gearing, crimping the prints, & streaking across the page, or value customer support in which a full refund is expected if the product sent is defective, you might look to a different provider than 1ink for your toner.

We regret to see a review stemming from a transaction dated March 31, 2023, especially after the issue was resolved with a full refund over a year ago. This customer received a full refund for HP cartridges claimed to be defective after extensive use. Upon inspection, it was clear the cartridges were used extensively before being returned. Our decision to refund was in good faith, aligning with our customer-first approach honed over 25 years in business and supported by ****** positive reviews by verified customers.

We consider the act of using products and then returning them as defective, especially after such a delay in reporting and post-refund, as not only dishonest but detrimental to the trust necessary for online commerce. This review, coming so long after the fact and following a resolution, appears to be less about genuine feedback and more about causing unwarranted harm. We remain committed to integrity and transparent service, proven over decades and tens of thousands of satisfied customers.

It is particularly disheartening that the Better Business Bureau (BBB) continues to provide a platform for such dishonest feedback and refuses to remove demonstrably false reviews even when presented with concrete evidence.
