            Ordered a coffee maker and never had any feedback from the company (no confirmation emails or any communication about the order, no tracking information). Company did not respond to my emails. Voicemail only on phone call. They did not respond to an email sent from Amazon (used Amazon Pay). A week later the coffee maker showed up. I had ordered from another company as I had no idea what was going on. Seeking a refund with the company paying for the return shipping.

            Fire hazard! My coffee maker, at the 2 year ***** short circuited and almost caused a fire in my home. The company offered an apology and nothing more. Stay clear of Bonavita products.

            Our products go thru stringent quality assurance checks to ensure meeting ETL and UL Standard Certifications for household appliances. There have not been any reported incidences of Bonavita electric products short circuiting nor causing fires before in our brands 12 year history. We do not have thorough information on the customers household electric wiring, or possible overload of appliances on the same circuit, nor was an investigation held to verify such a claim.In fact, Consumer Reports consistently names Bonavita as one of the 3 top Most reliable coffee makers.***********************************************************************************************************
