I paid for a single vin history report online, received no receipt from the business for the transaction. 7 days later I was notified that I received a $29.99 monthly charge for a subscription. Nowhere on their website can I cancel this subscription that I did not know i signed up for. I used their online chat feature to try to cancel and was told to email ************************* I emailed the proper address for cancellation and was told to follow the cancellation link I received upon signup. I never received a confirmation of anything from this business. I would like to be refunded this monthly charge and I would like my account to be cancelled.Initial Complaint

I subscribed to VinhistoryUS on January 26, 2025. After searching for the information I needed, I wasn't satisfied with it, so I canceled my subscription. On January 29, I received an email stating that my subscription was canceled, and therefore, no further charges would be made. However, to my surprise, I received a charge on my credit card dated February 2. I inquired and complained through the customer service chat (**** ***** is in charge), and the company agreed to review my case. After a while, they charged me again on March 3. I contacted the company again through their online chat and email, and all they did was provide a support ticket number, but they never responded or provided a solution.I've been looking for information about the company, and indeed, they have multiple complaints about improper charges and are not issuing refunds for canceled subscriptions. Apparently, they are fraudulent companies that capture banking information and carry out automatic ********** my last conversation with the company, they argued that I had to wait (I've been doing this for weeks) and that the online chat is only for customer service, which leaves people in my situation *********** far, I have received two charges of USD ***** each, for a total of USD 59.9.I urgently need the company to return the funds and delete my banking information, since my subscription was canceled according to the company's terms and policies.Initial Complaint

On February 12, 2025 I subscribed to a $1 trial of ****************, aka **************************. After I was unsuccessful finding out the information I needed, I immediately canceled my trial membership. I didn't receive an email confirming my trial OR my cancelation. On February 19, 2025 I received a notification from ****** of another charge for $29.95 to the same company. In the billing information from ******, I wasn't able to find a website to research and find out why I was being charged. I emailed the address from ****** and got this response "If you would like to cancel your subscription, please use the cancellation/unsubscribe link in your initial email. If you have any other questions or need other assistance at this time, let us know." Twice more I emailed asking about a refund. I next called the number on the ****** charge. **** ******** took my information and told me that I wasn't able to cancel because it was after the 7 day trial. She canceled it effective at that time but said I was not able to receive a refund. I continued to tell her that I did cancel. I never received any sort of email directly from the company. After a long discussion, she said she would escalate the issue. I repeatedly asked if I would receive a refund and she told me I would. Today when I called again, I spoke with ****. She rudely told me that I wouldn't get a refund and there was no one I could speak with. She eventually hung up on me. While I understand that $29.95 doesn't break the bank for me, it's definitely the principal that they are so rude and unhelpful. Please advise if there are any more actions I can take from here. After this got out of hand, I did a ****** search and all their reviews showed that they are a scam company that doesn't follow through appropriately with their business.Initial Complaint

I ordered 2 vehicle vin histories 8n July 2024. I cancelled it the next day so I wouldn't get charged the ***** a month. In August I was charged the ***** and realized I had to call to cancel which I did. When I called it gave option 1 to cancel so I chose that and the call ended. Well, in September 2024 I was charged again. This time I waited on the phone to speak with someone. They said rest assured I wouldn't get charged any longer and I would receive a refund. That never happened and I've been going through this every month since. I called again this month as I did last month and as you can imagine I'm very angry at this point. I haven't ever used this service since I originally did in July. I can't get them to stop billing me for a service I had cancelled months ago. Now they say they'll refund me for last month but only that month even though they have been fraudulently billing me since September.Initial Complaint

Ordered 1 VIN check on a vehicle and immediately requested to cancel auto subscription online as directed. Received an error stating they could not cancel and to contact via email. Sent several emails on March 8 and again on March 12 explaining the cancelation. Their response was to still cancel via their website, but I still get an error message saying to contact them via email. I was then charged the $29.99 for the subscription I tried several times to cancel. They are no longer responding to emails requesting a refund.Initial Complaint

I visited this business's website on 3/10/25 and signed up for an account under the premise that it would be $1 for a 7 day trial and I could cancel anytime. I decided after using the service that I no longer needed it and tried to cancel later that day. I followed their instructions and emailed support - they emailed back and told me to cancel through the link on my initial email. This always ended up in an error that told me to contact support. I tried multiple times with either no reply at all - or the same canned message to "cancel through the link in the original email". I tried email and chat and it's as though it's ran by AI - no real answers, just a runaround. I have made multiple attempts over the past week to cancel with no resolution. Today is the end of my trial and they will attempt to charge me $29.99 or a full month. I believe this is on purpose. I feel as though this is fraud and they are misrepresenting their process. Additionally, they say you can cancel through their online chat. That is also a joke as they state it'll be 1 minute, but it is more like ***** and once answered, it is a chatbot that states the same thing about clicking the link in the original email.Initial Complaint

I asked in the trail period for this to be canceled and when I was told to click some link I told the person I never got it. This company said I could get a vehicle history for a dollar. First off the they deducted the dollar and I never got a history. All of a sudden I get this money taken from my account and they are letting me know they will get to decide if they give me a refund or not. I just want my money back. On 2/22 I requested free service from said company to identify vin history for title. I was attempting to purchase a car. I was then prompted to pay $1 for report, which I paid. When I received vin email it could not recognize the vin number. So I was not able to access said information. Little did I know this website/company without my consent is charging $29.95 monthly without my permission. It enrolled me on to their website and I tried closing account that I never opened. They respond with cancel with initial email but there was never an email received. I was texted
