I signed up for what was advertised as a one-time $1 VIN check. After submitting payment, I received an email stating I was enrolled in a 7-day trial that would convert to a $29.95/month subscription. This was not disclosed at checkout and was only revealed in fine print at the bottom of a long confirmation email.I tried to cancel immediately, but their cancellation page gave an error. I had to contact support directly. They eventually confirmed my subscription was canceledbut they refused to refund the $29.95, which I never knowingly authorized.The VIN report I received was extremely limited. It did not include ownership history, accident data, or title issues unlike proper vehicle history reports. This made the product both misleading and low value.I filed a dispute with ******, which was denied on the technicality that I didnt cancel on time, despite the deceptive nature of the charge. *** also submitted a formal complaint to the *** (Report #*********).This business uses deceptive billing tactics and misleading advertising. I am seeking a full refund and want this complaint made public to warn other consumers. Business should clearly disclose subscription terms before payment and not bury them in small print after. On July 7 I received a charge on my Payoal account for $29.95 for a subscription to ************************** that I had not ever signed up for. I had bought a vin report on July 3 for $1.00 that I never received but I decided not to worry about it. I put in a complaint to ****** but they wont help. Ive emailed the company several times along with their 100% satisfaction guarantee and they will not respond to me. The website also will not allow me to cancel the subscription I never signed up for. Im really not sure what to do.Initial Complaint

Like many others, I simply paid $1 for a single VIN history and was automatically enrolled in a monthly subscription without my knowledge or authorization. Even though, the website specifically says their refund policy is "Immediate. No questions asked" I was told I was ineligible and was hung up on twice. On June 8, I authorized a $1 payment to look up a vehicle we were looking at buying. I did not sign up for a service. On June 15, I was charged $29.95. I contacted VinHistoryUSA then and was told to use the initial email to cancel. I never received an initial email because I didn't subscribe. I did an online chat and was given the impression that the charge wouldn't happen again. I was charged $29.95 again today and when I emailed them again, I was told to use the initial email to cancel. No initial email was ever sent to me. They suggested checking my SPAM folder, but there is no email. They have now scammed me out of almost $60Initial Complaint

on may 30 2025 i used vin history for one dollar then June 6-25 they took ***** out my cash app then July 6-25 they took out my cash app again i canceled my prescription after the one dollar use cause it didn't show nothing on my car an it an i contact 3 different time they still never contact me . i block them on my cash app waiting to see if they some how try to get money again need my moneybackInitial Complaint

I tried to use this service once as advertised on their website, but after paying a "1-time fee" I was signed up for a subscription service. I tried to cancel this subscription the day that I signed up but the link/website didn't work, I contacted the company via email but I was told again to use the link/website which did not work. I later tried again on the website and messaged through the chat feature instead of email, I was told it would be canceled immediately and received email confirmation that it was canceled. However, this morning my bank account has been charged a monthly fee for a subscription I did not sign up for. I just wanted to do a VIN check and paid $1 as established. They signed me up for a membership without my consent and now they don't want to cancel that membership.
