My blendjet was recalled and I sent back the parts as described in the recall on 1/24/2024. I have not received the replacement to date and when I contact the company I receive a generic response: that if I dont want to wait, I can purchase a new blendjet. So they take my money, provide me with a faulty product and then they want more of my money. I have to pay twice to receive the product I paid for seriously?!? At this point, I would prefer a refund so I can purchase something else as I think this business is 100% unethical and I heard that I am not the only consumer to have this same belief. A few other consumers referred me to the BBB and Im hoping you can help me get this issue resolved.Business Response

Purchased the blendjet for a Christmas present for my daughter who plays a lot of sports. She was excited to get this. I then received an email about the recall. I immediately cut the part as advised. I have never used the blend jet. I was told a replacement would be mailed to me. I emailed them every 2 weeks checking on it with a later date each time that it would be mailed to me. I am rejecting this response because they have emailed the same bogus replies for the past 8 months. When I received the recall and was asked to cut the part and email the picture to them I did it immediately. This was 8 months ago. They keep telling em they are getting it ready to ship to me. Still no replacement. Yet they are still selling them to others. So why can they not send the replacement to me? I have asked for a refund bc at this point we are over this company and the poor customer service. My daughter does not even want it anymore. It was a gift for her to *** for sports.

In January 2024 there was a recall on the BlendJet Blender. After it was determined that the one I had was the subject of the recall, I did what was told to do - take a picture of the blender and destroyed it, as instructed to do and sent it to them. It has now been OVER 6 months time, and still no replacement. I have had numerous emails back and forth and their rep says parts are on back order, it has been difficult but we should be send be starting to send out replacements no later than June, 2024. Still have received nothing. The last email I sent them I told them I wanted a refund. And that was 2 weeks ago.Business Response

I purchased their Blendjet 2 and found out later that it was part of their voluntary recall of January 2024. The recall process required proof of destruction of their product with a promise of a replacement. Idestroyed and provided proof and received am order confirmation for their free recall replacement. It is nearly 7 months later and although they are selling these units in their website, they have repeatedly claimed that there are supply chain issues and a replacement will be shipped as soon as possible. This has been very poorly handled. I have been refused a refund and continue to wait for a replacement.I have published this review twice and it keeps getting removed. In January, 2024 I followed the safety recall instructions issued by Blendjet and submitted my claim for replacement parts for my Blendjet 2 by cutting the rubber ring in three pieces, taking a picture of the destroyed piece and sending it to Blendjet with my contact information. I received a notice from Blendjet a couple of months later stating that replacement kits were delayed but they expected the kits to sent by the end of June. On July 5th I emailed Blendjet because I still hadnt received my replacement kit and asked for a timeframe of when it would be sent to me. I received a response back from them saying the recall had impacted them hard and they were working to get the replacement kits sent out. I replied that either a new unit should be sent or a refund issued to me. Three week later and still no response to my last email nor receipt of my replacement kit. I now own a Blendjet 2 that is totally useless. Like many others affected by the recall, I would like my unit replaced with a new one or a refund issued.Business Response

I originally ordered my blendjet in May 2022. When I received the email regarding the recall in late December I filed my claim with the company, which included destroying the blender to not use at all. This was a blender I used daily but understood from the original communication would take 6-8 weeks to arrive. 3 months later I reached out to customer service asking for an update. Was advised that I wouldn’t receive my replacement until after June when they begin shipping out again. Here we are July 23. Almost 8 months after filing my claim. And I’m being told by customer service that they do not have an ETA for replacement bases. That they began mailing out in March and I can’t be given an exact time frame. At this point I am furious. This is a blender I paid money for. Not something given to me for free. When I asked the company why are new blenders being sent and not my replacement they told me they can offer me a coupon to order a new one. Like seriously? Then I proceed to ask for my money back at this point because expecting customers to be ok for 7 months without something they paid for and you made us destroy is ridiculous. Money or credit towards a new one would be valid at this point. However once I sent that request they stopped replying. I just want my money back because this experience has made me never want to deal with them again.Business Response

I followed the instructions for the recall in late December 2023 to destroy my blenjet2 and upload pictures of the destroyed item.
