On Jan 12, 2024, I received an email from BlendJet about a recall of faulty blenders that could possible catch on fire or explode! I followed their instructions and had a difficult time getting their information to unload, possibly because of an overload of customers (which they later said was the case). When I got online, I did as instructed and put in my Serial # **********. My model was considered faulty, so I followed their instructions to "cut the silicon seal/ring in to three pieces, take a picture of it and send it to them". Again, I did as requested. This is the photo: ******.jpg Since then - I 'waited patiently'. After 3 months, I emailed to inquire when I might receive my replacement parts - BJ2 Replacement Base + Lid Kit 1 (color) Mint Free. They said they would respond in 24 - 72 hours, which of course they never did. Over the months, I continued to ask - and got stock emails that said they were receiving a higher than normal volume and were "a small company" (which of course, I do not believe). When they did respond, it was with an ad to buy other more recent models of the BlendJet, etc. Which I am not interested in doing. Occasionally over the months, I contacted them again, and got stock answers that they were "processing my order" and would let me know when it 'shipped'. Again, that never happened. I sent one final note to them requesting my replacement saying if I don't receive it, I will seek other help. That is why I am contacting you now. All I wish to do, is receive the parts I need, to be able to use my BlendJet. I am not asking for any money, or any apology. And I do not remember exactly what I paid for it. I received notification that the Blendjet I was in possession of was being recalled due to shards of metal breaking from the blender. In order to receive the free replacement kit, video or picture evidence had to be sent in of me destroying the blender base. I submitted the evidence for my 2 models and sent in on December 29, 2023. I received 1 kit within the 6 weeks they stated, but I have yet to receive the 2nd kit. I have received no help other from my inquiries other than a little bit longer. We have no other information. This is horrible given the company continues to advertise and sell units today! I would either like my lavender kit sent to me ASAP so I can use the product I paid for or have my money refunded to me full price, so I can be done with this horrible company and their poor customer service.Business Response

Order # ******* I paid for my blender jet 2. I came across the recall noticed and found my was a part of it. So like everyone else I cut up the ring sent the photos in like the said. Back in may 2024. Now it's January and still no replacement parts. I emailed them asking if they were going to send my order or if maybe it was cancelled I thought. Got the same response as other did. Would like my replacement parts. I have another blender that's recalled also. But haven't cut the ring yet. Due to being worried I'll never get that one either. Any info would be appreciated. Or better if you'd sent my order out. And give me a tracking number. Or even a refund if that would be better. Thanks ********Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I've talked to support members and get the same response. I would like to get my item or at the very least a time frame of when I'll be getting my item. I understand this has to be very stressful and overwhelming for this company to be going though. I'm ok with waiting my turn to receive my replacement. It just really upsetting to see if can pay for a new one and get it now. But since my order dose make them money it's not as important to be filled in a timely manner.

I purchased two Blend Jets in August, 2023, then they were recalled and was told I would get a replacement. I have emailed them 3 times and I keep getting the same response.Sorry for the wait but we do not know when it will be ******** I am seeing sales ads on social media to purchase a new Blend Jet. BlendJet recalled my blender. On July 10, 2024 I completed the online request for replacement. As of November I had not received my replacement. I have attempted to contact the company who responded they were having supply issues. I have given 2 more months for this company to send a replacement but have heard nothing further from them. They continue to sell their products, offering numerous discounts yet are unable to send out replacements for their defective product. I feel I have been more than patient and would like them to send me a new blender as stated.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:The company has made no attempt to contact me with a resolution to this issue. If a replacement base cannot be provided in a timely manner then I request they refund the cost of the blender or offer my choice of any comparable blender currently in stock.

Following the recall I submitted a replacement request on January 4, 2024. On May 13, 2024 I received a shipping update because a shipping label was created. Since then I have heard nothing. I have contacted customer service several times but just receive a generic response about issues with their supply line. It has now been more than a year since my claim and they have not provided a replacement for their recalled product.Business Response

In December, 2023 I received notice that there was a recall on a Blend Jet blender that I own.I was told to cut the rubber ring in the base in two places (which would make it inoperable) then take a picture of it and send it to Blend Jet, which I did. On February 28, 2024 I received an e-mail from Blend Jet saying they received it and they gave me an order number #*******. They said they would be sending out a replacement base and lid kit. After a couple of months I contacted them because I hadn't received it and they wrote back saying they were backlogged with replacement requests and they would get it out as soon as they could. I've contacted them several times since and still get the same response. It's been almost a year and I've been unable to use my blender because they had me destroy the rubber gasket to make it unusable, yet they haven't sent me the replacement base and lid kit. They are still selling their Blend Jets in stores and online and I've asked if they could just send me a new one but they said they could not, I would have to wait for the replacement base. This is poor customer service and I would like to file a complaint.Business Response

i purchased a Blendjet 2.0 blender from *** and received notice that it was part of a recall. *** sent me the link to return the item, which I followed their instructions by uploading a picture of the cut up rubber gasket. I received a confirmation number back from them of #*******. I filed this on January 5, 2024. I have contacted them on 2 occasions, which i was told to be patient since there was a lot of returns. I was also promised that i would receive my blendjet in June which I still have not received. I continuously receive emails from them promoting new blendjets but can't take care of sending out the recall items. Its been over a year and this is unacceptable.Business Response

On 12/6/24, under order # *******, I purchased a BlendJet value set.When I came home from vacation, I tried to use my blendjet and I discovered the base was defective.I own about 6 units and I gifted 4 of these value sets. Therefore, I am quite adept at using the product and I know when something is defective. I wrote customer support and they asked for vidoes, via WeTransfer which I provided. The unit just blinks red when not in use until the battery dies a day later. This unit also has no serial # , which should indicate that there is a quality control problem with this unit. All owned blendjets have serial #s.I would like to have my base unit replaced. I did not spend my hard earned money for a defective product. They recalled a part. Told us to cut part of it so it could not be used. Advised they would send replacement. Its been 8 months. Wrote to them several times, was advised they still did not have the parts. After writing several times I asked for a whole new replacement.
