This just happened July 20th, 2023.
I called silver valley propane 7/11/23 and told them that I am moving out in October, and not to make any more deliveries to me since I will barely use the propane in there until i move out in October. The very next day I left town for a week and while I was gone, they came and filled up my tank full! When I called them this morning 7/20/2023, they said that she wasn't sure why they made a delivery because it did show my request. Well guess what? I am still responsible for paying that bill, and when I leave in October I will still have a bunch a of gas left over; which in turn they will go and rent the tank out somewhere else and fill that person's tank using my gas, that I paid for! - all free for them.....Super messed up. I shouldn't be responsible for paying for this extra gas delivery they gave me. It seems pretty shady. BEWARE!!!!!

Good morning, Denay. I just had a meeting with my office staff to find out how this happened. Long story short, we created the route ticket before the request to stop deliveries was called in to our office. At that point, what usually happens is that we check the customer account to ensure no deliveries are currently scheduled. That didn't happen this time. I have instructed by office staff to zero out the invoice--meaning you wont have to pay anything for the erroneous delivery. I truly apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for sharing this experience as it will lead to process improvements going forward.

This company is the worst company iv ever dealt with. Their customer services is atrocious. I was at 5% on my propane. I called to ask for a delivery. They told me to soonest delivery would be February 10th which was approximately 2-3 weeks out from when I asked. I called a week later to see if they could come sooner they told me it would be a $75 “out of route fee” I told them I’ll wait. A week goes by I call again and the lady tells me the soonest they could come out would be next week and again I told them I’m not paying the delivery fee. She tells me okay we can come out on Tuesday Jan 31st and there won’t be a fee. The driver gets to my house knocks on my door and goes into my yard with out speaking to me and already starts filling my tank. We agree on $400 worth of propane and he goes to give me the receipt. Says $475. I asked what the $75 extra was and said for the “out of route fee” I told him I’m not paying that and never agreed to that and would of never had filled my tank if he told me from the start. I call the business to dispute the charge. I talk to I believe the owner Josh who is the most human being I’ve ever encountered. Yes I may have been irate and said I’m not fucking paying the $75 fee and never agreed to that fee and would of never had the delivery made. He then returns and starts cussing me out and then proceeds to say “suck my ****” and then says “come down to my business and come find out.”He then proceeds to tell me it’s okay I know where you live it’s okay. I hope this business goes out of out of business. They are the most ignorant people I’ve ever dealt with in my life. They don’t care about anybody and all they want to do is nickel and dime you. I called a new business to bring a tank out next week and to have them bring a new tank out. I called back to let them know to pick up their tank. They are now trying to charge me now 150 for their tank to be picked up. Anyone that reads this i hope you find business else where

Payment Terms and Fees – Customer agrees to pay all fees, rates, and charges within 30 days after delivery of propane or services rendered to Customer. They have violated their own terms and conditions. On my cameras at my residence their employee is seen coming to my residence and taking off the valve to connect the tank to my residence leaving me with out any heat, hot water for my family depriving me my right to the propane that I have previously already have paid for. Just because we have a dispute over a payment doesn’t not allow them to come on my property and disconnect my tank to my residence never even 24 hrs later.

Silver Valley Propane does NOT care if their customers freeze this holiday season, they flat refuse to do any emergency fills. As a result, as of today (12/24/2022), I will be without heat until AFTER the new year. Should I freeze to death or become deathly ill before they graciously decide to come give me heat, I hope someone will file a lawsuit on my behalf.

Its not so much that we refused to make an emergency delivery than it is we just didn't have the personnel to support an emergency delivery from 12-24 through 12-26 as I let all of my employees off for the holiday. We are a small family owned company and we do our best to make sure everyone has propane for the long weekend. Considering only one litigious person seemed to lack the wherewithal to plan ahead, we did outstanding.
In this case, proper planning was not practiced and a customer ran themselves out of propane. The customer in question is a will-call which means they call us when they need a delivery. This customer in particular only takes the minimum amount of propane each delivery by request. As this season has been colder, it hasn't been enough to supply her demand. Our suggestion to this customer is to order more propane on delivery days or use less propane to conserve the amount you have so you don't run out. For 29 years we have not worked on Christmas holiday. The concept isn't new here. While it is very unfortunate that *** ran out of propane, the fault lies not with Silver Valley Propane.
