  I would definitely recommend NOT using Service Pros of Antioch. My elderly parents recently had their water heater repaired, and they were charged over $1000. While I am not a licensed plumber, I have a close relative who is. After looking at the invoice that described what was done, his exact words were, "They were definitely overcharged." It's especially disturbing that this company would take advantage of elderly people--most of whom are on fixed incomes. To make matters worse, my brother was treated very rudely when he called on my parents' behalf to question the charges. The fact is, most of us have no idea what a fair price should be for plumbing services. We rely on the honesty and integrity of the plumbing company. Sadly, Service Pros does not have these qualities. I would strongly recommend NOT using this company and choosing one that charges fair prices and treats their customers with respect.

  DON'T use Service Pros Plumbers, Inc., ***********************************************************************************************# ****** In June 2025, my 91-year old Mother's water heater was leaking through the ***** (Temperature and Pressure) relief valve. She hired Service Pros Plumbers, Inc. The plumber installed two items to address the problem: 1. T&P(Temperature and Pressure) relief valve with a 4-1/2" Shank 2. 3/4" PRV (pressure reducing valve)The bill was $1009.The bill seemed very high to me so I asked my Uncle, who is a licensed plumber, to tell me if it was a fair price. He said it was not a fair price. He said the job would take 1 hour to accomplish. He also said the parts would cost about $135 retail at one of the "big box" home improvement centers. I know, plumbers say they buy better quality parts than you can get at the home improvement stores, and that the better parts cost more. Ok, lets double $135, so the parts might be about $270. Now, subtracting $270 from the total bill of $1009, makes the labor cost at $739 for a job that should take 1 hour. Outrageous!I called the Service Pros Plumbers manager and told him why I thought his company overcharged my Mom. Instead of treating my concerns with respect, he quickly became very argumentative with me. Then, he hung up on me as I was still speaking.I strongly suggest that you DON'T use Service Pros Plumbers, Inc., ***************************************************************************************************# ******

  We understand your concerns, however, we have no record of conducting business with you directly, nor were you present or residing in ********** at the time of service. The opinions of another contractor outside of ********** are not valid not comparable. Mrs. **** independently approved and accepted the work. She has been a recurring client, and her continued use of our services indicates her satisfaction. She initiated the service call, scheduled the appointment, and provided her approval. We thoroughly discussed the scope of work and methodology with her.
  
  Your accusations regarding the service duration are unfounded. The work extended beyond one hour due to the time required for diagnosis, detailed discussions with Mrs. **** , explaining the process, reviewing pricing, procuring parts and making the repair.  Our rates are consistently fair and transparent. We encourage you to recognize Mrs. ************ capability in selecting a professional company that performed an excellent job and provided a warranty for her repair. We would have been amenable to communicating with you from the outset had you expressed any doubts about your mother's decision-making abilities; however, she is clearly capable of making such decisions.
