10/23 hired them to detect underground cold water pipe leak, I can hear the noise was highest along bathroom wall. The structure of house is 2syories, kitchen next to bathroom , shared wall, bathroom is like 10 feet long.Plumber confirmed break would be under kitchen cabinet (which is next to shared wall with bathroom) 10/30 hired contractor to brak foundation to get to break, turned out break is in middle of bathroom, 6 feet from shared wall. Including wall thickness it would be 7-9 feet from center of kitchen cabinet.I complained and asked for refund, they said send another plumber to see what was going on, namely the detected and actual location of break 11/29 Another plumber came and argued with me the first plumber did his job, equipment is not accurate to zero error, equipment does not guarantee 100% correct. I asked him what is the acceptable error rate and he went on saying 4-4.5 feet diameter. I said the actualy break is more than 6 feet from detected location,And I said if I did not hire you, I would start at the middle of the bathroom, and of your equipment is not better than my ears, why did I hire you and your equipment waste me extra money to start from break foundation 8 feet away. You should throw your equipment away. he still not conceded even he conflicts with his own statement, so I invited him out.12/2 I emailed service pros to ask for refund, they asked me for evidence, photos that prove the actual break is at that location. I said my contractor hired by me , not by you to take photos to show proofs to you. If you are wrong, you are wrong. You are trying to make excuses. I said if you insist, don't communicate with me anymore. They never refunded me. Do NOT trust this plumber, whole bunch of robbers.BTW, they charged $489, not cheap.

This customer has failed to prove what we did worng. He has advised us that leak detection we provided was acurate. We asked for photos of the repair and area of the repair. He provided only the pictures of the area where we marked the spot of the area of the leak. He could not provide proofe via email so we asked so meet with him at his home so that he can show us what he was refering to. Once again, the only area that looked dug up and repaired was the area we marked for the leak in the ground. He asked for refunded and stated that if we do not give him refund he will go to all the social media and BBB and write bad review as he is doing. We advised that refund is not due.

I am rejecting this response because:

business used that "PROOF" as an excuse .  I don't need to show any proof because the contractor I hired did not obligate to prove anything to me and to you.  Service Pro you can keep the money and that does not make you a good business. I will keep spreading the truth to all social media as much as I can so people won't fall into your trap.  Freaking jackass.

    Sincerely,

Yes you do have to show proof. How would it look like if we just belived and gave money to anyone that came out and said we did not do something correct. That does not make sense. If you went to purchase a shirt and had a hole in it, you have to return it to the store, you have to show the proof where the hole is in order to return something or get refund. You can not eat an entire mean and then sau you don't like it and ask for money back.

Same her, we can not just take anyones word and give money back just becasue you said so. Also, the real true and honest contractror has to show his work and proof what they did, You made sure that we provided you all the photos and invoice write up in detail, in your words "because you paid for it" . Yes of course we will provide all the detail beacuse you paid for it so don't tell me that other contractor does not have to show you anything, that doesn't make sense. Why hold him to different standards then us. I am very sorry that this did not work out in your favor. We will continue to do good work and spread the good work of many hundreds of satisfied customers.

Pros Plumbers offered their services to fix a sewer line for total price of $6,980.50.They demanded $1000.00 deposit. On 9/21/2023 I paid Pros Plumbers $1,000.00 deposit. On Friday, 10/6/2023, before providing the service, Pros Plumbers confirmed that the total price for their service is $6,980.50.On Monday 10/9/2023 Pros Plumbers called me on the phone, said that the service was completed and demanded the rest payment. I offered to pay by check, but Pros Plumbers refused and demanded a credit card number. I gave my credit card number and authorized Pros Plumber to bill my credit card for $5980.50. (total contract price of $6,980.50 - $1,000.00 deposit).Pros Plumbers fraudulently billed my credit card for $7,023.49 without my authorization.Pros Plumbers stole from me $1,042.99 by fraud and without my agreement.I demand Pros Plumbers to refund $1,042.99, which they stole from me by fraud.

    Hello,

Please carefully review estimate that was provided to BBB from the homeowner. The estimate clearly said that the permit fees will be added once the permit fee is calculated by the city or county. We do not upcharge the permit fee, it is ******** cost. He was advised of this multiple times and he agreed when he signed the contract. He gave us credit card to charge for the work completed. We DO ACCEPT CHECKS. He could have provided info over the phone for ACH or check payment, he chose the credit card. Payment is due at completion of work and he was not present there so he called in and paid over the phone.

Back in October of this last year I had service pro plumbers on Railroad Avenue in ********** come out and do a re-pipe for my house at *******************************************. while doing the re-pipe somebody mustve stepped where they shouldnt of when they were in the attic and cracked my ceiling in one of the bedrooms after months and months of discussion with the company with them denying that that happened when it has been obvious that thats when it happened wasnt like that before *** had several estimates on getting them.I have had several estimates on getting them patched because they did not do the patching or the re-texturing or the painting the estimates I have been getting all have said that the crack was caused by the re-piping when somebody stepped up there where they shouldnt of and cracked the ceiling. They gave us an amount of only $498 to shut us up after months and months of trying to make them understand it was their fault and to get them to do that repair being they caused that repair. The lady at the office will refuse to give me their bond number or their license number or the owners name so that I can speak with the owner. She also would not give me the name or phone number of the owner . She said she could not give me that information . I live out of state and believe since I wasnt there they would forget to call. My tenant who lived there reported the problem

As per our contract that was signed by this customer, customer is responsible for any sheetrock repair and putback as well as texture and paint. It is clearly stated in the contract as we do not specialize in walls and paint, homeowner was to have this done by someone else. Her tenant was in and out of the attic and was always going up after we would complete the job for the day to check the work for the homeowner who lives in a different state. Our team is highly skilled in this kind of work and we do repipes daily. We are well educated where to step and not to step, it's part of our job! The homeowner came back to us back in March with concerns of the expense to make sheetrock repair. We advised that we can give $600 credit back from the repair to help them   (wrote the check that has been cashed by owner ) She called yesterday almost 9 months later to ask for us to repair her sheetrock again. They advised that their tenant was going to fix it all but decided that he did not want to do it after all and moved out. It appears that they are trying to get things done for free and that is not fair. They tried to use the tenant for it just so they would not pay and now that option is out the window, they are coming after us again. Our contract is attached and it's clear as day. Customer signed acknowledgment of work, work completion and satisfaction of work. Our assumption is that this was done by her tenant or whoever the owner had check the work  after we completed it. Homeowner is also stating that some contractors are saying that we did this, it is absolut fabrication and a lie of such statement. The other contractors never said such and if they did I ask of the homeowner for the proof as that is false accusation and I will take that contractor to court for stating such without proof

They also stated that it took months to deal with us. Absolutely not true. We helped them locate contractors in our areas since they live out of the state. They asked for our help. We provided few recommendations. Homeowner received estimates and called us about it. We again advised her that as per our contract and that we advised before start that we do not repair sheetrock. We offered to give some money back from the repair (we discounted our repair ) to help them offset the cost of the repairs needed. We did this in good faith!!! Please note the check $600 and not $489 they claim. Check was dated 5/1 shortly after the work was completed. We never heard back since that check was cashed. Now they are saying it's $2000 for repair. I feel like we have been very fair and clear on our end. This is their property and they need to deal with repairs
