    Better Business Bureau [Address of Local BBB Office or Submitted via BBB Online Complaint Form]Subject: ************************** Name] for Breach of Contract and Unethical Business Practices Dear Better Business Bureau,I am filing a formal complaint against [Company Name], a web development company I contracted to build and host my website. The company offered a package that included a professionally built website, three years of web hosting, support and maintenance, and instructional videos to help me manage the site independently.While the initial website design was of acceptable quality, it was far more elaborate and complex than what I needed or requested. When I asked for adjustments to simplify the site, the company repeatedly delayed or made excuses instead of addressing my requests.Following this, the company began contacting me frequently about alleged technical issues with my website, each time requesting additional payment for fixes that should have been covered under the agreed-upon maintenance and support. Examples include:Claiming a cookie compliance issue and demanding $200 to resolve it.Later stating the site was being attacked by bots and required a CAPTCHA installation for $300.Finally alleging that the website required optimization, for which they requested $350.I declined the last charge, as it appeared to be another unwarranted upsell. The very next day, my website became nonfunctional. This sudden failure immediately after I refused payment raised serious concerns that the company intentionally disabled or neglected my site in retaliation.This behavior constitutes a serious breach of contract and raises ethical concerns about the companys business practices. I did not receive the instructional videos promised in the agreement, and the company has failed to provide the reliable support and maintenance that were included in the three-year hosting package.

    I've been extremely patient and kind with this company in working on my website I was promised months ago, here I am almost a year later, and I have no website! *** invested $1,300.00 and received nothing but empty promises, and now I'm not even getting a reply at this ******** now suing for my money in FULL!!!FB pushes this company, and they have not shown to be trusted and have absolutely no intent to reconcile my situation and trust me the receipts I have to back me are all I need in court to win. Paperwork is in the mail, so Ill see if you plan to keep avoiding me when you're served.I began with Website Design Tree in December of 2024 it is now September of 2025, and I have no website, and they refuse to refund me for wasting my time and causing me further hardship by delaying my website relaunch!If you can't provide my website which you havent, or the social media management, (which was not what you promised AT ALL) then refund all of my money plain and simple.I am a single mother, and I am not afraid to invest in my business. However, im not here to be misled and jerked around and then be ignored after all the patience and understanding I gave several individuals at this company! At this point I am furious that my time has been wasted and now my money ****** Better ***** **** ***, ******* and the whole team stop doing good ppl wrong.STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY I'LL BE GOING TO COURT WITH THEM FOR MY HARD-EARNED MONEY!
