Original Date of transaction 7/11/2022 $4,899.00 was the total project cost ($2,499.00 of that was for the turf installation that is what this complaint covers)The business committed to providing 100% satisfaction for turf installation of Synthetic grass 65-ounce Daytona Green for 357 sq. feet area. The owner installed damaged turf (there are lines in the turf which he acknowledged). This was not caused by window glare or any damage by the homeowner. It was present on the day of installation. The customer questioned the marks to which the owner replied they would go away with time. After they did not go away the customer reached out to the business, and they came out to try and address the issue by adding more sand. However, by March 2023 the issue was still present. After several months of communication, the business owner determined that the warranty company was not going to do anything to correct the turf defects and he offered to replace the turf at no cost. Replacement was done on 6/7/2023 beginning at 8AM. The business removed old turf and when the customer asked if it would need more sand, the business owner replied yes. When the owner decided he was done he left in place a piece of turf not properly installed (no additional sand was added) which resulted in many lumps, waves, and overall poor installation. Once again, the owner told the customer that it would settle and not look like that. On the morning of 6/9/2023, the customer reached out via text asking for correction of the poor installation and was answered via a phone call from the owner. The owner was unprofessional, rude, and not willing to correct the issue and hung up on the customer. He texted immediately after and noted that our conversations are now suspended because of this matter you got a new product over.
