On 2-19-2025 took my 2019 F-150 truck to Next Level Mechanics. They said the engine needed to be overhauled, and I agreed to spend around $5000 for repairs. Went to get the truck on 2-21-2025 and the next day, a Saturday, drove to ******************. A driver pulled up and said a lug nut had fallen off the truck. Checked and two more nuts were completely loose, with several others not tight. I fixed all nuts and disaster was averted, but could have been catastrophic, as we were Interstate driving the next day. On the way to Las Cruces the engine trouble light came on, and at Mango Automotive in ********** they identified two problems with the engine that had not been repaired correctly. We talked to the owner of Next Level, ****** *******, and he repeatedly said he would pay for our repairs and rental cars. We sent him invoices and he swore the check would be sent that very day. Got home two weeks later and no check. Called him and he claimed it must have been the wrong address, despite me giving that information repeatedly to personnel at Next Level. But again, he said he would send a new check. Waited two weeks plus, and again no check. So he revealed himself as a manipulative lying scoundrel. I am realistic about the chances of getting the promised money, but felt the world should know what kind of a person this guy is and how he treats out of state travelers who are his mercy. Also know that I have invoices from both Next Level Mechanics and Mango Automotive of ********** **********(who repaired the mistakes made by the Next Level mechanic), as well as the engine part that Next Level failed to repair properly.

I filed a previous complaint about Next Level Mechanics of Tucson. Since that time the owner, ****** *******, has for a 3rd time claimed he sent a check to me. On 3 occasions I have waited around 2 weeks to be certain, then contacted him. On 3 occasions he has brazenly lied to me. Even more egregious, after I reviewed his business, detailing the process of getting my truck from Next Level on a Friday afternoon and learning to my dismay that a lug nut fell off the next morning and several more were loose, ****** ******* wrote a reply in which he claimed he had spoken to me and that I took my truck to get new tires after leaving his shop. This is a complete fabrication. In fact, I had two new tires put on at Tiger Tires in ****, **** before the trip, and I took the truck nowhere except back to our condo before the lug nut fell off. No matter what ****** ******* says, his shop is responsible for this grievous situation and his response to my review is a patchwork of lies and misrepresentations.
