ClearOne Advangage is great via email and on the phone IF you want to give them more money so that they can take their fees. However, **************** never answers an email or the phone. When you finally get someone on the phone (that knows nothing about your account and is reading from a script), you will be put on hold trying to get answers for at least 1 hour. No one will help you when they make a mistake, especially withdrawing too much money from your bank account. They did this to me on July 16th, said they would refund my account by July 18th, now it is July 21st - had to call yet again and am told they will not refund my money. I am cancelling my service with them after two years.

Unfortunately, ****** reviews are excellent because of this companies exceptional customer service on day one. Reviews are submitted upon submission of application on day one by excited and relived individuals who simply need a chance. Once documents are signed the communication becomes a bit detached and their process changes. I am asking for a return of funds as I was told something very different when applying for the program. This has only hurt my situation worse with a sick child. Upon my calling to figure out the situation customer service informed me that I would need to pay the full amount of settlement in advance and it could take years to begin the settlement process. I have always made payments on time and refuse to miss payments on my credit cards. Im in debt due to a sick family member. I feel like this was a bait and switch. I ask for a refund and immediate action to end my account. I will continue to make my own credit card payments. Please return funds today and I do not wish to negotiate.

Thank you for allowing ClearOne Advantage, LLC ("COA") the opportunity to respond to Ms. ********* review. A member of ***'s management team has attempted contact with Ms. ******* on numerous occasions unsuccessfully. Ms ********* enrollment call was reviewed and found to have set proper program expectations. Ms. ******* enrolled with COA on 4.25.2025, on 6.05.2025 the client called COA  requesting to withdraw from the program and was immediately cancelled. Her Global Holding balance was refunded to her account on file and marked cleared on 6.09.2025. We are sorry Ms. ******* felt the program was not right for her, but we wish her every possible success moving forward.

I enrolled in ClearOne Advantages program in February 2024. I was told my credit would recover after an initial drop, and that they would not take fees until debts were settled. Despite this, they withdrew $7596.16 in fees while only settling one account.Following their advice to stop paying creditors severely damaged my credit, which dropped into the 400s. I reached out several times and filed a complaint, but the company did not resolve the issue. *** also filed complaints with the *** and CFPB.I am requesting a full refund of the fees paid, and I strongly caution other consumers to research thoroughly before signing anything.

Ms. ****** enrolled in a 54-month debt resolution program, totaling approximately $34,862.69 across ten (10) accounts. At the time of her cancellation request, she had active settlements with five (5) creditors, and a sixth creditors settlement had already been satisfied. While we regret Ms. ****** decision to discontinue her programespecially as she was making significant progress toward becoming debt-freecancellation does not eliminate her contractual obligation to pay client success fees on her settled accounts. With regard to her dissatisfaction concerning COA fees, pursuant to her enrollment agreement and federal and state laws, *** only collects its fees after a settlement has been reached, approved by the client and a payment has been made toward that settlement. We are sorry that Ms. ****** was not satisfied and we wish her the best with resolving her debt.

I appreciate ClearOne Advantages response, but it contains misleading and incomplete information. I am submitting this statement to clarify the facts and explain why I filed this complaint. While I did enroll in ClearOnes 54-month debt resolution program for approximately $34,862.69 across 10 accounts, only one account was fully settled and paid in full during my time in the program a Synchrony account for $554.94 (which included a $170 success fee).Despite this, ClearOne Advantage withdrew over $8,000 from my personal checking account into an escrow account they controlled, under the impression that these funds would be used to settle my debts. Of that amount, they took $4,926 in success fees for accounts that were never actually paid off or finalized through their program.I later discovered that only one account had been resolved by ClearOne, and the rest were either in progress, not negotiated at all, or left incomplete. I ultimately had to contact every remaining creditor myself and settle each account directly and in full without ClearOnes involvement. I now have receipts confirming all debts were resolved by me, not by them.Their claim that I approved the settlements is misleading. I was pressured into agreeing to proposals without understanding that doing so would trigger significant fee withdrawals even though no real resolution had taken place yet. These fees were not earned in good faith, and the process lacked the transparency and accountability I was *********** summary:Only 1 account was resolved by ClearOne.They withdrew over $8,000 from my checking account into an escrow account they managed.$4,926 of that was taken in success fees for work they didnt complete.I personally resolved all other accounts and have documentation to prove it.Whether or not their fee structure is outlined in their contract, their business model is deeply flawed and unethical in practice. I entered this program trusting that ClearOne would help reduce my debt burden instead, it drained thousands from my account, damaged my credit, and left me doing the work myself.I respectfully ask the Better Business Bureau to take these facts into account. I hope my experience prevents others from falling into the same trap.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!They let a creditor go for over two years without contacting them. I kept calling to check if they were on it and they said "we are just waiting on a power of attorney" when I asked if they needed anything from me they said no. I got served by a law office in March, informed Clearone advantage and they said they were working on it. Wednesday March 21 I finally get through to someone on the phone told and asked if they'd be in court with me Friday. They said there was nothing they could do. I told them I wanted my drafts stopped and a refund of my current balance and they admitted they had never received a settlement offer...they could have told me that so I could settle with the collections on my own...instead I was in court today. SO NOW..I wait for them to refund me $200 and I have to make payments to the lawyer representing the creditor AND additional fees. The worst part? SAME DAY I was in court..Clearone advantage called me to tell me I was behind in my drafts and after I reminded them my records show I am down with drafts and they owe me .....they had the AUDACITY to ask if I wanted to add more debts/creditors....Why? They failed....and then they want me to trust them to handle more? RIDICULOUS

The worst company I have ever had to deal with!
I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW CLEAR ONE ADVANTAGE IS BBB ACCREDITED WHEN THEY ARE SO TERRIBLE!!!
Trying to get in touch with someone from Clear One Advantage is impossible!!
I have been on hold with them for over 40 minutes and I am still on hold waiting for them to answer the call.
I have sent emails and tried to contact Gloria Speed the person that used to handle my situation but that is also of no use because I never get a call back or a reply to my emails.
I received a message on my portal saying I was supposed to call clear One Advantage but nobody is answering me.
The last time it took 3 weeks, a bunch of phone calls and emails that were never answered and a bad review that got Gloria Speed from Clear One Advantage to get back to me.
Hopefully someone from Clear One Advantage will read this review and get back to me.
I am still on hold while I am writing this review. So far I have been on hold for 53 minutes.

Do Not enroll with this company. They steal your money. If you have a bank balance when closing the account they will take your money for fees when accounts were not settled in full. they give bs excuses and will not return your funds. if a contract is voided they give you excuses stating that fees are still owed and will not return your funds

Thank you for allowing ClearOne Advantage, LLC (COA) the opportunity to respond to Ms. ********** complaint. Our management team has spoken with Ms. ******** to address her concerns. Ms. ******** initially enrolled two creditors in our program and later added six more. *** successfully negotiated a settlement, which she authorized, and payments cleared before she modified her drafts, ultimately resulting in the loss of the settlement.

We have provided Ms. ******** with detailed information on settlement fees, which are earned once the first payment is made. While the loss of a settlement is unfortunate, it does not negate the client's responsibility to honor their agreement and pay the success fees.

Ms. ******** has chosen to cancel her program. While were sorry to see her go, we want to reaffirm that we have acted in good faith throughout the process. We sincerely wish her the best in her future financial journey.

This company will take your money and not pay off creditors. I got sued by **** and had to hire a lawyer after ********* refused to help me after I got sued and it was their fault for making a deal with **** and then never paid ****. They accidentally admitted this to me on phone and once they realized how bad they screwed up they stopped taking my calls.

I was mislead and lied to. I was in for 2 years. Suddenly it's 4 years. They paid an acct that had already been paid. And they save me around $400 off my settle. Say I have a card with a Balance of $2500, and then they'll settle, and you only, end up paying everything on the settlement. Except for maybe $400, so I feel like I could have done this myself. Not to mention everyone I speak to at. The company says that they're my representative, and then their email address is No longer working Uh, the company doesn't know that person at all. And it changes like every 3 months. It'll be a new person. Uh, so far I have paid them more. Then they have saved me money. I do not recommend this company. My brother had a different company and you know what it was fantastic. But this ride is c*** ************ doesn't know what they're doing. They do not care, and they will take as much money from you, as they can. Stay away!!!
