    On June 11, 2025, ClearOne Advantage withdrew $1,238.00 from my checking account in error. I called immediately and spoke with Gladius, who acknowledged the mistake. She said she would mark the payment as unsettled to trigger a refund and asked me to call back on June 13 to confirm if her manager approved it.During that call, I mentioned I wanted to cancel my account due to poor service. Gladius warned me that canceling would result in a $3,000 fee. I immediately clarified that I was not canceling and confirmed this on a recorded line as requested.Between June 11 and June 30, I received 7 additional calls from ClearOne urging me not to cancel my account. Each time, I told the representative I was not canceling. Each time, they apologized and assured me the issue would be corrected, yet the calls continued.On June 16, I followed up and spoke with ******, who said no refund had been processed. She promised to escalate the request and said Id receive the refund within 35 business days.On June 24, having received no refund, I called again. I spoke with ***** who hung up on me.On June 24, I called back and this time, I was transferred to **** in Client Relations. **** said the original request from June 13 hadnt gone through due to incorrect notes. She corrected them and submitted a special draft withdrawal for $1,238.00, again stating the funds would arrive within 35 business ******* June 30, still no refund. I called **** again, waited on hold, requested a callbacktwiceand received no reply. Instead, I got more calls asking me not to cancel.When I finally reached ****, she told me Id only be refunded $921.10 because that was the available balance in my account. Once more, I was told the refund would arrive in 35 business ******* summarize: ClearOne Advantage took $1,238.00 in error, gave me the runaround for weeks, and is now only refunding part of the amountthrough no fault of my own. This experience has been deeply frustrating and unacceptable.

A member of our management team has been in communication with Ms. ****** to address her concerns. Ms. ****** scheduled a new draft in error through her client portal. After speaking with Ms. ******* we resolved this issue and returned the draft as requested. She has expressed full satisfaction with the resolution and has informed COA that she intends to withdraw her BBB complaint. We value Ms. ******* participation in the program and look forward to continuing to support her on her journey toward becoming debt free.

    I don't have the exact dates but I do know in the summer of 2021 I started a debt consolidation program with ClearOne and they said they entered all of my credit cards and were helping pay down my credit card debt. I believe I completed the program in 2023 and they sent me something saying it was completed and all of credit cards have been settled. Fast forward to June of 2025 as I am trying to apply for a Direct Plus student loan but denied because there is a debt charge off on my credit report. It is from *********** which was one of the credit cards in the ClearOne Advantage consolidation program. I called *********** and they mentioned that the debt was not settled and that I still owe the full amount to maybe get with ClearOne Advantage. I called ClearOne Advantage and they mentioned it must have been a mix up that they settled the debt on my behalf with ***********. ClearOne told me they will email me proof to send to ***********. I still have not received an email to send to the credit card company nor have I heard from ClearOne Advantage management team.

Ms. ******** has filed a dispute with her creditor. While we understand her concerns, we believe her complaint may be better directed to the creditor. We will continue to assist Ms. ******** in any way we can.

    The company (CLEARONE) was supposed to take $50 from my account but took ************ were called twice to only take $50 out but failed to register this.

    I have been paying clear one advantage for 500 dollars for the past 3 years and now they refuse to help with this last creditor after helping with the last few creditors I had before that they helped to pay off

While COA's negotiators work diligently to secure the best settlements. Ms. ******* has the right to reject any offer. After speaking with Ms. ******* we have addressed her concerns, and she has chosen to remain enrolled with ***.

    Clear One Advantage is helping me with debt consolidation and in the process they failed to communicate with me in regards to one of my accounts which sent it to a garnishment status and Clear One doesnt think they are the reason behind it and are no longer willing to keep that specific account on my plan.

At the time of enrollment clients are informed that accounts in litigation are not eligible for the program. Unfortunately, although Ms. ***** indicated that her accounts are not in legal status, a creditor had in fact obtained a judgment on one of her accounts prior to enrollment. We have informed Ms. ***** that this account must be removed from her debt resolution program. We appreciate the opportunity to address this and remain committed to supporting Ms. ***** in her program.

    I am filing this complaint due to Clear One Advantages unethical handling of my funds and refusal to resolve the issue in a timely and professional manner.I currently have $1,542 in my client holdings account with them. The remaining enrolled debts total $478, and instead of using the funds already available to pay off that balance, Clear One Advantage withdrew an additional $478 from my personal checking account without notice or explanation. This was completely unnecessary and *************** they are holding $1,542 of my money and refusing to issue a refund. I have made multiple requests to speak with a supervisor or manager and have been denied at every turn. They are delaying resolution and failing to take responsibility for their actions.This is unacceptable. I am demanding a full refund of the $1,542 currently held in my account and a formal written explanation of why they withdrew additional funds instead of completing the debt settlement with what was already available.

    I have been using Clearone Advantage to assist with my debt consolidation. I have made all of my payments on time and extra payments and was told a few months ago I no longer owe anything further. They indicated they would stop withdrawing money from my bank account on the 15th of April very month. Today, May 15, they made two withdrawals from my account for approximately and $172 and $180.00 approximately. I called them twice today and spoke with the supervisor who said he would call me back within the hour and never heard back from them. when calling back I was told just call some other time and was disconnected. I would like to have the approximately $350 that was out of my account today reimbursed to me. I have called *************************** and had them put a block so they cannot take any further money out of my account but they said that could take up to 90 days to go through and I dont want this occurring for the next three months. Can you please help

    I signed up with Clear One Advantage almost two years ago and they still have not attempted to reach a settlement with one of my creditors. The credit card account is now with a law firm so they could sue me. This is unacceptable and bad business practice to allow clients to get served rather than pay creditors like they promised me when I signed up with ***. I was lied to outright when I called them; an agent told me a settlement was going to be reached the next day but it never was. *** keeps asking me for more funds beyond what we agreed upon when I signed up. I need them to reach an agreement with my remaining creditor ****. This has been drawn out so long that my account went to a law firm and I can be sued. I did not sign up with them only for them to neglect their side of the agreement. I cannot wait more than one week for them to reach a settlement with my creditors.

    Suppose to supply legal service and has not done that in a timely manner resulting in a final judgement by one of the creditors. Have spent time trying to get answer about why no legal services supplied and getting no answer

    I have been repeatedly lied to after requesting that the balance in my bank be refunded to me on April 16, 2025. Please see transcript of that date below and the subsequent transcripts where I ask repeatedly for my money and they tell me it's coming. First, they told me 5-7 days. After 10, I contacted them again. They told me 3-5 days. I've contacted them repeatedly and they keep taking the bank balance out so that I have less and less money to be refunded. They are liars, crooks and fraudsters and should be charged with fraud as they state repeatedly in their ads that your money is yours and you have complete control of it. That is simply not true and is a fraudulent statement aimed at getting people to sign up.

A member of our management team has attempted to reach Ms. ******* to address her concerns, but has been unsuccessful. At the time of Ms. ********* concerns she had 3 active settlements that had scheduled payments that processed accordingly. Although Ms. ******* requested a withdrawal it was within the same time frame as the payments being processed. As per our agreement any requests to make changes to your draft require 5 business days notice. Nevertheless, her request was processed,  she's been provided a refund from her account, and she is now reflected as cancelled in our system.
