I was enrolled at Bryan University ************** back in 2020-2021. I was studying programming with them. After a while, I realized their programming classes were not what I wanted to do and the teaching methods for the classes were inefficient. I then reached out to my advisor and counsel to ask them to switch my major over to what I wanted to do which was graphic design. I was un-enrolled from classes for two to three months, still paying them money for my colleges and waiting for a response from them and they continued to give me words as such "we are waiting for financial aid" or "were waiting to get you properly enrolled via paperwork" or "we are waiting to put you in the classes with the time schedule". After a while, I reached out and asked an advisor what the best case method would be and she told me "if you think that this school isn't right for you, you can submit a letter of resignation." I asked her what the repercussions of that would be and she told me that I wouldn't owe anything since I was covered by financial aid. They told me I would only have a small bill of about a thousand dollars to pay back which I had scheduled payments for. I told her however that my financial means were less than good and that I would not be able to afford payments and she said that I can make the first payment and we can work out the rest. I did what she said, submitted a letter of resignation, and went on my way. Last month, I receive a phone call from a woman from their office who told me i owe about $3,500 to them and she was looking for money. I logged into my account and she told me that financial aid did not cover my loan repayments. I told her right now I cannot afford to pay them back and she said they will wait until im able to pay but I need to respond now and let her know how I can make payments. She got me a payment plan of $150 a month. I still am unable to afford that with my bills and now im stuck paying them for the next six months or more...
