TNT Exteriors, LLC gave us a written quote 12/16/2021 for a roof installation on our residence. The chosen options were "Complete Shingle Roof System" for $21,500 & "Tear Off" for $6,000, total amount $27,500. 9/8/22 TNT agreed to complete the quoted installation during the first week of 10/22. The agreement was oral, the contractor did not offer or suggest a written contract. This was agreed to by ******************************* with the Office Assistant ************************************ upfront deposit was paid to TNT at their office 9/21/22 the amount of $13,750. Deposit check was cashed, remaining amount was to be paid upon completion of work.TNT failed to ever show up, not once. This went on for months, promising they'd be coming out soon. We called, texted, & went by their office at least 3 times a week. Excuses given were, "We decided to go hunting" & "We decided to take a few days off". *************************** did her best to keep pressure on TNT owner *******************************, often he would not reply to her either.12/22 after trying for 10 weeks to get TNT to even show up, we asked for our full deposit to be returned. TNT agreed to return our deposit, ******************************* told ********************************* told us to expect our deposit to be returned in full.We called & text every few days trying to get the funds returned as they had agreed, there always an excuse, ******* saying, "I can't get ****** to respond to me." Or, "The guys aren't working right now, so we don't have the money."Early 2023, *************************** let us know that she quit TNT. After that, they would not answer calls or texts.We continued trying to contact them weekly. 3/2023, ****** finally replied to us claiming he had no idea who we were & what had been going on before finally admitting to it & promising to start making payments to us at the end of March 2023. ****** never once made any payments to us & will not respond.We simply want a full return on the deposit that was paid for work that was never even attempted.
