      I had a ultrasound done at SimonMed on September 4, 2023. I paid $758.02 which was the full price even though my insurance covered about half. I was told towards the end of September that a refund of $394.46 was issued on September 19, 2023 to give me back the portion my insurance covered. I was also told it would take ***** days for me to receive this refund. I called throught November and December asking about this refund only to constantly be told a new time frame on when I would get my redund back. It's now almost Christmas and I have yet to see this refund. If it helps at all, my account number is ******.

      The date of transaction is January 20th, 2023. My wife and I paid $1,000 for a procedure. This was an overcharge since our insurance deductible is $500. Our insurance provider (Independence Blu Cross) acknowledges we are due a refund and SimonMed acknowledged that as well over the phone. We received a partial refund on of $326.87 on May 23rd, 2023. We have been waiting and calling for our refund of $173.19 for an additional 6+ months.Every month we call for an update and every month their team says the money will be returned to us. According to the representatives, the back office (for billing) "hasn't had a chance" (the representative's words, not mine) to look at it. Their customer service in regards to billing is the least professional and organized I have ever come across in an organization.Additionally, we have been unable to get a manager on the phone and they do not provide a reference number. Each call, the managers are busy and the callback numbers we provide are never dialed.

      I had a sonogram appointment where I told them how much I usually pay as I come here often. they disagreed with me and charged me $225.11 when I shouldve paid $65. I called my insurance company who confirmed that I was suppose to pay $65. I called this company back and they apologized because it was an error in the system. This happened September 23rd. Fast forward it is now December 19th and I have yet to be reimbursed. I have requested to speak to multiple managers/supervisors, and each one of them say the same story that they are in a meeting every single time I call. they told me to wait 30 business days and I did. Then told me to wait an additional 15, and I did. I was told I would get a call back three times from a supervisor and I have not. now they are saying to give it another 7. they are not giving me my money back and they send me in circles every single time I call. I am done waiting around for a company who doesnt seem to know what they are doing. They refuse to give me my money for no apparent reason.

      I have paid for my service and I keep getting text messages and emails stating that I still owe them money. I have called them 3 time and it wasnt till this last time where they asked for proof of payment. I sent them my proof of payment to their billing department. They keep trying to get me to pay for the service I already paid for. This is not the first time they have done this to me. I continue to get notifications that I owe them money when in fact I can't even get the service preformed unless I pay for my service in advance.

      On October 11, 2023, I went to Simon Med for imaging. Even though this was coded correctly and there was not a deductible, Simon Med charged me $179.78, they stated it would be refunded after proper insurance deductible verification. It is now December 19, 2023 and over 8 phone calls, I still have not received my refund. They state in the phone **** days the last 3 times I have called. To this day, still no refund to my card. I desperately need this money back. How could they just keep money from individuals. ********** Blue Shield stated they should have refunded the entire amount.

      I had an MRI done at SimonMed on 9/6/2023. SimonMed failed to obtain the cost of service in advance from UHC and billed me $800, which I paid. I subsequently received the Explanation of Benefits which stated the cost of $250. It is now 12/18/2023 and I am preparing to place my fourth call to SimonMed to attempt to get my refund. During the last two calls on 11/22/2023 and 12/8/2023 I was told that by refund claim had been "Escalated to Corporate" and would be processed within **** days. I will never return to SimonMed for any type of service.

      On 11/11/2022, I went to Simon Med for an ultrasounds image of my right breast, because they were contract with my insurance company, Bright ******. Ive been receiving bills for the amount of $1088 from Simon Med; each time I call them and they assure me that they will contact the insurance company to get it straightened out. Every couple of a months, I receive another bill saying it will be sent to collections. I call again, am assured that its being taken care of, and the cycle continues. Bright ****** care claims in their Explanation of Benefits that I am only responsible for $37.66, which I will gladly pay. I chose Simon Med because they were listed as a covered provider on my insurance plan. I call Bright ****** and they say I owe $37.66 and they already paid the rest. I call Simon Med and they say I owe $1088 and threaten to send it to collections. Im filing this complaint so that Simon Med will stop harassing me, I will pay them the $37.66 that is owed, and we can put an end to this back and forth.

      SMI Imaging, LLC always requests payment before services are provided. My insurance company covered the cost of the services. SMI Imaging issued me a check # ****** for the amount of $363.15. Unfortunately, when I realized I received a check from SMI Imaging the check had expired. I have called SMI Imaging in June, August and October requesting the company to re-issue the check. They continued to advise me that the check is in the mail, however; I have never received another issued check. I called my insurance company who called on my behalf. The insurance company called me to inform me that SMI Imaging would re-issue the check before November 10, 2023. To date, I have not received a re-issued check from SMI Imaging. I am requesting that my payment of $363.15 be granted and issued to me immediately. SMI Imaging is more than willing to collect the estimated charges prior to rendering services but has difficulty issuing your money back. This is ridiculous!

      I received services end of October 2022. My insurance paid their portion November 2022. I received a bill end of December 2022? for my portion of $87.78, which I promptly submitted by electronic check January 3, 2023, which SimonMed promptly deposited on January 10, 2023. Since then, they continue to send me a bill for this amount, and it's now been a year of harassment! I have made several calls over the year only to be told "it's in process", "it's under review", "our back office is taking care of it, and no one can talk to anyone in the back office". Even after I provided them with a copy of the check front and back, showing they deposited my money! At this point, it's stealing!! They took my money and evidently many, many others! I am contacting an attorney today, maybe even have a class action lawsuit started. They need to be stopped... they are guilty of stealing our money!

      *************** ordered a ct angiogram more than a month ago. The original appointment at Avondale was cancelled with less than 20 hours notice. As such, I had already begun the prep for the procedure. I rescheduled the appointment to 9:45am 12/12/23. When I arrived at 9:15am, I was told that this appointment was cancelled - with zero reason given. They would squeeze me in later in the day. I had already taken the prescribed medication, drank 32oz of water, skipped caffeine for days, fasted today, etc. This is grossly unprofessional! I expect simonmed to reimburse me for the prescription. That is the least that they can do. I also drove ******************************* order to arrive at the Arrowhead location!. So I am out financially & time - not to mention having to reschedule the ct angiogram at a different provider (Banner). Rest assured that I will NEVER schedule anything at simonmed imaging!
