We are in the process of transferring a domain for our business and Wild West was really bad about helping us. None of the **** speak English very well. So there was huge disconnect with the language barrier. They refuse to escalate the issue so I can talk with a supervisor. Multiple depts that do not communicate well with each other.Business Response

I couldnt have accepted such an agreement because I created my account over 20 years ago when the 2FA verification was not even a thing. How was I supposed to accept something that didnt even exist yet? Also, I never enabled the verification, thats a lie. Back in 2023 I was still able to access my account just fine despite I didnt have SMS access anymore, it was after that that I was locked out because it asked me the verification code and I couldnt enter it since I didnt have SMS access. So the feature was enabled some time in between and not by me because as I said, I didnt have SMS access already by that time.
Whatever the case its my account and I have been paying on time during 23 years or so, its not right to lock my out like this since I have my password, customer number and access to ************************ email account, payment method and even registered phone number via WhatsApp so there is plenty of alternate verification methods available to recover my account. I am not sending my personal documents to *******, thats not gonna happen so stop stalling and give me my account back before this escalates. I already filed a complaint to ***** and I am willing to take this to court if necessary.
. I had to pull it up from third party sites, and the address they use to answer cant be replied to, the email bounces back. They clearly dont want to be contacted. I tried their chat support but it is totally unreliable since their representatives dont have the required level to deal with this matter.Business Response

I am not submitting my documents to any company. Thats an invasion to my privacy and an inminente risk that could seriously harm my integrity. I demand the verification by different means. Many companies allow verification via mail or WhatsApp so you have no excuse.Initial Complaint

This company has sold domain names for the sole purpose of deception. In my case they opened a domain name 1 letter off from mine to use in a phishing scheme. I would be leery of any correspondences from domains they have sold.Business Response

I have paid for domain and email from GoDaddy since 2011. Apparently, this "Wild West Domains" took over my account. On April 20, 2023, they charged me 5 times for my email renewal charge. After hours on the phone and multiple calls, I was told I would receive a "store credit". I refused and insisted they refund my money as they charged me five times for the one charge. They finally agreed they would. Upon my taxes being filed, it was discovered that they NEVER gave me my money back. I emailed them the day it was discovered last week. No response. On April 20, 2024, my checking account had the yearly charge taken out despite there still being a "store credit"! So this company not only stole my money with 4 extra charges, did not give it back, but they STILL are charging me and not using the supposed store credit! THEY NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED FOR FRAUD. How many other companies had this happen and never even realized it? I will press charges if my money is not refunded within 7 business days. Someone needs to stand up to companies like this that steal money. I called the company again today and was told 90 days for a check to be mailed. Absolutely unacceptable that I am expected to wait 15 months for a refund of money they stole from my account.Business Response

Thank you for the opportunity to address our customer's concerns.
Upon conducting business with Smug Domains, our customer acknowledged and accepted our agreements, found at ********************************************************* .
In 2011, our customer established an account with Smug ********************, a reseller for Wild West Domains.
On April 20, 2015, they purchased an Unlimited Business Workspace email plan (***) for a one-year term. Subsequently, per their account settings, this plan has automatically been renewed each year.
Between August 23 and October 6, 2022, their email was migrated to M365 Email Plus as part of our End-of-Life (***) process for the *** platform. They were notified of the *** and migration 30 days prior to its start. M365 Email credits were added to their account to match the number of mailboxes, remaining time, and renewal settings of their retiring *** plan.
On April 20, 21, and 25, 2023, per their account settings, we attempted to automatically renew the M365 email plans in good faith to honor agreements with them, however, their financial institution declined payment.
Our customer contacted our Care team on April 25, 2023, to add a new payment method to their account and manually renew one of the M365 plans.
On April 30, 2023, we automatically renewed the remaining plans per their account settings.
On May 2, 2023, they contacted our Care team to cancel the unwanted renewal and were provided a Store Credit for the canceled email plans.
RESOLUTION:
Smug Domains upheld its agreements with our customer in good faith and honored its terms of service.
On April 25, 2023, we processed a cashout of the In-Store Credit back to their original payment method. They should allow five to seven days for the funds to reflect with their financial institution.
Thank you again for the opportunity to address the concerns presented by our customer.

Wild West Domains host our website - kingskarsinc.com. On 2/13 our email's in my business went down. I contacted our IT guy who said it appeared our domain name had been stolen. We have been in contact with wildwest domains over the past 6 days and we can not get any resolution. They told us they needed some forms completed, which we did right after they sent on 2/14. Then they said they needed owner of the business ID, which was sent. Called back and they said it would be 3-6 hours and my IT guy would get the email needed. No response. Called back again, customer service rep said they would send another message to account recovery dep***ment and we should hear a response in 1-2 hours. No response by 2/15 - I called back and they said they needed the drivers license of my IT guy. He got an email ****************** away requesting this and sent it immediately over. I called back 2 hours later, the customer service rep again chatted w/ the ART team and they said they needed 2-3 hours to get the email to IT to gain him access. Nothing ever came so I called back on 2/16, 5 different times and got told several different things. It would be 1-2 hours, it would be 2-3 hours, then got told the rep was wrong it would be 3-6 hours for a response. Nothing, then weekend came and went and no response. Called customer service back 9am 2/19 - the rep i spoke too could not transfer me to a supervisor but said i would get a call back in 1-2 hours. He also reached out to the ART and they said they would send an email to my IT **** and get them what they needed. The ART dep***ment did contact my IT guy and stated they needed selfies of each person holding their ID's. Those were sent over at 10am EST. No response from ART dep***ment or call back from supervisor. I called back and got a customer service rep on the phone, finally got a supervisor on the phone and he took ownership of the problem to try to resolve the problem. I did not have business email for 6 days and continued to get the same answer on the phone. They kept stating they would chat at the *** **** and I would get a call back. Our main communication is email - this hurt our business and communication with our clients.Business Response
