This despicable business used deceptive mail campaigns to prey on my elderly father. This scam threatened to cancel a home warranty that never actually existed and duped him into buying a service they will never deliver. They refuse to issue a refund or cancel the policy.Business Response

In April, 2024, I received a call from Monaghan Mortgage offering a home warranty policy. I had gotten my mortgage from them, but have now found out they are out of business. I did agree over the phone to get this coverage. I was charged two separate amounts coming to approx $500. I got a call today from Forever Home saying that they had my home warranty and wanted to bill me monthly for about $250.They gave me a non working number for Monaghan.Business Response

This letter was written and mailed to both 4Everhome *** and the Better Business Bureau on 2/16/2024.To whom this may concern:I am **************************** grandson and long term caretaker, she received a letter on 12/15/2023 that led her to believe that 4everhome was the home warranty policy that her husband had on their property. He had just passed away on 12/3/2023, and he took care of all of the mail and financials. Based on the letter she opened, she was led to thinking she was a current policy holder and this was her final notice needed to pay in order to update and keep her coverage with a Record ID: **********. When she called, she was deceived into believing she was updating an expiring policy and not buying a new one. That she needed to pay an enormous amount ($405) to catch up with the policy, and if she did right away she'd be able to redeem a $199 refund voucher, which they did send. Not being in sound mind at the time, she complied, and was given the Contract Number: ON11323978 After learning that the policy her husband had been paying for was really with Cinch and NOT 4Everhome ***, she tried to cancel and was given the runaround. In the meantime, 4EverHome *** has managed to charge her an additional $356.75 for the months of Jan and February, totalling $713.50 without authorization. It seems like this company explicitly preys on the elderly or people who dont know any better, as all of the reviews on your website have said the same. *********************** c/o ************************** ************************************************************ ************** **************Business Response

To Whom This May ****************** calls are recorded for quality assurance.
We asked our quality assurance team to review this call. 4Ever Home does not condone bullying or deceptive behavior. At no time did our sales agent bully or decieve the customer. The sales agent took his time explaining the coverage. Gave her options on the pay plan. The customer called in 2 more times. Once to let the agent know to go ahead and process the down payment and another time becuse she found the $199.00 voucher and wondered if we could credit her account for her. Our customer service agent credited the $199.00 back to her credit card at that time.
We have voice authorizations for the down payment and the monthly payments that ran for ******* and February. When the customer called in to cancel our customer service agent canceled her account and gave the customer the cancel procedures.
We would like to assure you, 4Ever Home USA does not prey on the elderly. We are a legitimate business that provides home warranty services.
Thank you.

They took advantage of my 90 year old mother. They took advantage of the elderly. This is not the first time as you look at the reviews. They seem to target them. This is just awful. They should pay her back.Business Response

I have been trying to stop 4everHome / ********************** from sending me home warranty offers in the mail for about 18 months--I have been unsuccessful in stoping the mailings.I first called them on 7/26/2022 and asking to be removed from their mailing list.I continued to get mailings.I called again on 4/17/2023 and again asked to be removed from their mailing list.I continue to get mailings, the most recent on 1/5/2024.They refuse to listen to my requests. Please contact 4everHome and have them PERMANENTLY remove my name and address from ALL of their mailing lists (under any/all of their business names).I'm not the kind of person who would ever purchase a home warranty from an unsolicited marketing notice. They are wasting their money on sending anything to me in the mail.Thank you for your help in this matter.*****************Business Response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.
It sounds like 4ever Home USA found my name in their database, how else could they have removed it. Next time Ill file the complaint against 4ever Home (without *******) and see how they respond. I wonder if the two companies are connected?
Regards,

I am my grandmothers caregiver, she thought that 4everhome was a warranty that her husband had on the house before he passed. They were super deceptive and told my grandma that they dont keep records. Understandable, however when she canceled her warranty back in October 2023 it was never canceled and on 12/26/23 she got charged almost 300, why would they charge if she canceled the warranty? Seems like this company preys on the elderly or people who dont know any better. Im very glad only her credit card number was compromised and she didnt give them her full account number and routing. I would stay far away from this business.Business Response

I am conservator for my grandmother who experiences memory problems. This company has been contacting her continuously via the mail with letters stating "final notice" and "payment required". She always calls me in a panic about this junk mail. Just recently she spoke to them over the phone and gave her credit card, resulting in a $500 charge and requiring me to cancel the card. This company should be ashamed of targeting old people.Do not contact her any further.Business Response
