Waited 4 hours for supposedly a nurse and ***** called to give us a time frame or showed up. I believe this was a scam like others have mentioned. I will not reschedule with Matrix. I have my own doctor that I go to every 3-6 months. Plus they said we can schedule on a Saturday and then I go on website and says they are closed. I do not trust this company.

Hello Matrix, I made this appt. for tomorrow morning with good faith, and expected an early visit, and an appt. time notification at least 2-3 days ahead (at a minimum). Now, I have tried to contact and call Matrix 3 times, and still no Time of appt. - ""tomorrow'' morning,- tomorrow. I get up at 3:00 , and need to take care of other important matters after 11:00 A.M. - So, what is the hold-up? So "unprofessional" of this Matrix org, or what ever you claim to be. You say Matrix cares about my Health,- well what a lie, - you do not care about my emotopnal or mental health as it is affected by your unprofessional behavior in scheduling this appt. in a timely, caring, and proper manner. I will check one more time at 4;00 P.M. then make a review of your company. - Sincerely, ************* (supposed patient), -

I got the notorious Matrix call an hour ago, with the woman caller representing that, as so many other reviews state, that the call is on behalf of my health insurer. My caller ID also showed the number as my insurance company. It seemed a bit suspicious that they needed my home address, email address, cross-street for directions (no GPS?), color of my house, etc. I scheduled a home health assessment visit with a nurse practitioner. BUTweve all been trained by experience, and by the news, to be skeptical of unknown callers, texts, and emails. And for good reasons because calls, texts, and emails are often the assault vectors of choice for scammers, spammers, data thieves, and fraudulent come-ons. SoI did a quick online search and within seconds came across this BBB site with so many negative reviews on Matrix that I called back right away and cancelled the appointment.I especially noted the many responses by Matrix to the complaints, all of which say about the same thing. Many apologies for rude, pushy, inconsiderate, disingenuous behavior by phone reps, and missed appointments by nurses. What strikes me is the insistence by the Matrix responder that this Is all a misunderstanding and Matrix is just there to help and do good. What about changing your business model? What is it about Matrix that triggers so much negativity? Maybe Matrix is all they claim to be and nothing beyond that. Maybe 95% of your contacts with seniors are beneficial and positive. Nobody searching the web to allay their misgivings will reach that conclusion. Instead of the apologies and offers to add complainers to Do Not Call lists, why not address the root problemlack of trust in the process which casts a negative halo effect onto the company, the brand, the mission, and the employees. Maybe this level of mistrust is acceptable in your model and its part of the cost of doing business, the Matrix Way.

Scam. These people convinced me to spoon feed them my wife's medical info by saying they were calling for her medical insurance company, and that it was mandatory. The guy straight up lied to me in my own house. Luckily I discovered this site before I scheduled an appointment. If I see a EOB show up with Matrix named as payee I will call UCare up and have the transaction cancelled. Then to add insult to injury, Matrix flipped over to voicemail repeatedly when I tried to get a hold of a customer service representative. Do you think they get more than a little complaints? I could not even get off the mailing list.

******************,Thank you for sharing your concerns and our sincere apologies for the experience you had with our company. "Scam" is a strong word; Matrix visits with - and helps manage the care of - thousands of health plan members all over the country, including UCare. Matrix has been providing theses services for over 20 years. And, of course, a site like this rarely shows the testimonials we get from individuals whose lives we've impacted - and even saved - with our in-home health visits.Nevertheless, you've had a bad experience with our organization and we will ensure that your name is removed from any future contact. It was wrong for you to be told that our services are "mandatory." They are not, and you had every right to decline our services.Thank you again for sharing your concerns.

This company has tried in many ways: phone, email, snail mail to gain access to me in order to provide an exam "AT NO COST TO ME!!!" by a nurse for years. For decades, I have had no desire to give my private medical information to anyone other than my primary care physician. I am quite healthy so Matrix's patent response that my medical provider has placed this wellness check on my treatment plan is not truthful. I have been asking Matrix for years to respect my right to decline their services. They stop for some months and start up all over again. I called AETNA and inquired a few decades ago about this request and asked if it was required to use their insurance. The answer was that it was not. I wrote to the President of AETNA years ago and was told that this was not a requirement. Actually they cited that the caller from Matrix was unprofessional and would be retrained. On another occasion, I called Matrix and told them about the many people who have utilized the BBB to complain about their persistence to sign people who were not interested. I was told I was removed from Matrix's list. I received yet another letter today. I have no complaint about AETNA except the fact that their partnership with this company exists. I want this harassment to stop and not recur. I am entitled to make my own health decisions and this is one of them. I find it funny that Matrix keeps pushing the point that the assessments are free as if once a person ages they suddenly lose their mental faculties and will sign up for anything labeled FREE! I will next voice my opinion to the ************** Attorney General, *************************' Office followed by *** Senator ********************* both are advocates of the rights of seniors. I truly believe Matrix doesn't understand what consent means and when to respect the right to privacy otherwise they would leave people alone once they decline services. There has to be an issue of monetary compensation motivating their process.

Today I had a phone call from Matrix. They called saying that they were calling on behave of my insurance company on a recorded line to schedule my in home health assessment. I said you are lying because you are calling from Matrix. He said I work for Matrix yes. I said you are a bunch of liars and there is no way I am having you come into my home for anything and I hung up.There needs to be a way to get this company to quit calling and pretending to be something they are not. The least they could do is say up front that they are calling from Matrix instead of trying to mislead people. All I have ever seen is bad reviews for this company and would like to see something done about them. So many people actually fall for this and there are way too many scammers out there these days.

Thank you for your outreach, ***************I will forward your concerns to our *********** leadership, but please note that when one of our agents states they are "calling on behalf of your health insurance plan" they are not lying. Matrix partners with over 40 health insurance plans to offer in-home health visits. Your name and contact information was provided to us by your health insurance company for this purpose. Matrix visited with over ******* health plan members in 2022, and will exceed that number in 2023. We're sorry that you don't see the value in having one of our nurse practitioners visit with you in your home - we will let your health insurance company know you have declined the service and we'll remove you from any future calls. Thanks again for reaching out.

My gosh this company employees are so aggressive I canceled my in-home visit. It seems to me they are gathering my personal data which does not help me at all. I have great doctors and I do not wish to have a data gatherer in my home. I keep asking myself what is in this for me? I get an annual physical and have a wonderful network of Doctors so again I ask why this aggressive company wants in my home to gather data and sell it to someone else. Maybe it is used by my insurer to raise my rates and or cancel my coverage? Even on the phone when I called to reschedule my in-home visit I was pounded for data basically not ever getting to why I called just aggressive data collection. I canceled my appointment and blocked them on my phone and email. I cannot review the in-home visit because my gut told me ahead of time that this service does not help me at all. If you want to come to my house and gather data you need to pay me and I still would not do it.

Thank you for your outreach, ******************. Matrix Medical Network partners with health insurance plans like yours to visit with eligible members in their homes. Matrix conducted over ******* of these visits in 2022. Matrix received your name and contact information from your health insurance company and makes calls - and schedules comprehensive health visits - on their behalf. These visits are not intended to replace any care you currently receive; it's meant to complement that care. Matrix also works with members' primary care physicians to share information from our comprehensive visit.Nevertheless, we will inform your health insurance company that you have declined the service and we will remove you from our outreach. Thank you and have a great weekend!

I had my annual visit from the Matrix nurse on 04/18. Everything went according to schedule. The nurse arrived in the time frame scheduled. I received two confirmation phone calls and the opportunity to reschedule if my situation had changed. The nurse was efficient, caring, and professional. I am very pleased with the service from Matrix offered through my ************** Plan. There is one small issue. The nurse left her pen at my house. I called Matrix and left a message - TWICE! I did not receive a return call. The pen is a special commemorative one and I would really like to return it to her. Thank you.

This year I am in way poorer health so scheduled appt a month in advance the day before they called to cancel after hounding me with messages regarding my appt. It's just a scam company period don't bother entertains them.

**************** -Thank you for your comments regarding Matrix Medical Network, and our apologies for your recent experience. We would argue otherwise that "Matrix tests are always incorrect" or that Matrix is just "a scam company." In fact, we ********* to one million health plan members all around the country in 2022 and have received numerous testimonials that Matrix care and services helped save lives and/or improve health.Nonetheless, we respect your opinion and will have you immediately removed from *********** and mailing lists, and will inform your health plan that you are no longer interested in Matrix services.Thank you.
