I had a total of 2 visits to this office in April and May of 2023. The wrong deductible was charged on the first appointment, and I had a credit on the account. I had the 2nd appointment (telemed) in which I paid another incorrect deductible. The appointment was less than 10 minutes and after hanging up, I had a few follow up questions. I called the office back but was not able to get ahold of the *** The front desk staff said that I would receive a phone call from the doctor the next day and we were able to speak. What I didn't know and what I was not told is that this was registered in their system as an appointment and I was charged for it. I have been trying to get my refund of $50 ($25 per appointment) since June when I received the *** from the insurance company showing the correct deductible. I received a call the last week of August from the office stating that I was approved for the refund and a check would be mailed. After a couple weeks of not receiving anything, I called the office back and was told that the owner is the one that has to cut the check. I have been calling every 2 weeks and have not received anything. I spoke with the billing company on 11/15 and they have a note in their system that the refund was to be issued on 10/12/23, but nothing has been received. Additionally, the business has been paid by the insurance company for this "phone call appointment", which was not an appointment.
