    On 3-22-22 I ordered a custom shade for my patio from Polar shades who originates from ******. I explained to the salesman exactly what I wanted, picked out color for shade and hardware and put a 800 dollar deposit down on the shade. Delivery was 14 weeks later on June 28th. That morning before they arrived I called the office to give them a credit card number to run the balance of 811 dollars. It took the installation guys about 10 minutes to install the shade. They knocked on my back door and I was horrified at what I saw. There is a 3 inch gap on each side of the shade, the shade was installed on the roller crooked with on side being bunched up and the other side 2 inches shorter than the bottom, and the pull wires that I was told would be covered by a metal frame are exposed. When the shade is lowered or raised it makes a loud creaking sound that my neighbors can hear from their yard.The shade looks like it came from a home improvement store that would fit so so instead of a custom shade that cost **** dollars. I immediately told the installers I was not happy and they called the office and talked to the manager on speaker phone. He was extremely nasty and was telling them he didn't have the work order in front of him and I should get in touch with the salesman which I did. He proceeded to lie and say that he told me that was how it would look, that the shade has gapes because it is hand cranked, ignored the pictures I sent showing the shade was crooked, and tried to tell me he could come out and rig something with a s**** to make it look better. I told him that was unacceptable, and that I either wanted the shade to be remade or this one returned and my money back. I also said I was open to have someone come back out to my house to see if there were any other options. They have never addressed the issue and I have locked my credit card and will not pay the balance until this is rectified.Now they are sending me threatening letters to put a lien on my home.
