On June 15, 2022, I had Quality Bumper install a Blue Ox Alpha 2 tow bar, item #*** ****** including all the electrical for a complete towing package. When I brought my new 2022 Equinox in to O'Rielly Chevrolet for its first service on July 1, they found the following problems. The windshield wiper warning light was not connected, and also an electrical wire that was frayed because it was routed wrong, also the right rear turn signal bulb was not seated properly and that caused the rear turn signal assembly to burn out and now has to be replaced. I have enclosed an invoice from O'Rielly Chevrolet for the repair of the frayed electrical wire which I have already had to pay in the amount of $957.00. What still has to be done is the right rear tail light assembly. I have also enclosed an estimate for this repair which has not yet been done as the tail light assembly is on backorder. The estimate for this repair is $268.40 for a total of $1,225.40. I have also enclosed pictures showing the wire damage and the burnt out tail light assembly. Because this falls on the installation made by your company installers I feel that you should reimburse me for the damages caused by your employees. I am seeking a refund from this company. I have sent them 2 emails, the first on 7/6/22 and the second on 7/10/22. I included pictures of the damages and also quotes from the auto dealer stating what the problem was. As of today, I have heard nothing from this company.
