I am GPOA and HPOA for my mother, *****************************. I contracted with Senior Planning on 12/6/21 to represent mom in getting qualified for *****. Part of the process was a pre-qualification such that the signed contract has a refundable guarantee if they are not able to get her qualified once they proceed with the ***** application - see Article 2.3 of the attachment. They failed in getting mom qualified for ***** and I submitted a formal refund request, minus attorney fees for some income trust paperwork I had already initiated - although I do not know what the portion of the charges are. After going around in circles, I was told I needed to complete a "refund request" form, which I emailed to their representative, *************************** on April 4, 2022. Repeated phone calls and emails since have been ignored. Original amount paid was $1,500 of which part of the fees covered the income trust. I have already advised via email last week that I was looking at filing a fraud charge against them. Their sales pitch relied heavily on their 100% refund guarantee if they were not able to get mom qualified and was presented as "no risk". If I can get the refund I will move on and forget this. If getting the refund through BBB fails then I will formally pursue fraud charges.
