Senior Planning was AWESOME!! They assisted me with getting my mother approved for ***** and they did their job!! I tried doing this on my own about 4 years ago and kept talking to a different person with *****. With Senior Planning, they spoke to ***** on our behalf which made it an easier process. Senior Planning were able to get the application processed with ***** in under a little two months whereas it would have taken me anywhere from 3 to 6 months. MANY KUDOS TO SENIOR PLANNING. They definitely made my life easier. I definitely recommend using Senior Planning.

The communication of the Senior Planning Company has been horrible to say the least and has cost my mother and myself precious time, significant costs & unbelievable stress since bills were piling up and they were not getting the job done in a timely manner actually, they didnt complete the job contracted to do.Originally contracted with Senior Planning in January 2023. Financial application was not filed until April 2023. First application was declined due to lack of information that I was never aware of and Senior Planning did not advise me of documents the state was waiting for. I actually called the state to get status due to lack of responses I was receiving from Senior Planning personnel. Found out case declined/closed 9 days prior to my call. I ended up informing Senior Planning of the status.Second application filed in June 2023 and Senior Planning stated the Supervisor would ensure the application gets completed. This never happened, again poor communication to me and I called the state and found out it was declined/closed again on day before I called due to lack of a document being submitted on time. Again, I had to notify Senior Planning of the states decision.Third application filed in July 2023 and this time I worked directly with the state and we were able to complete without the assistance of Senior Planning.I have requested a refund on September 3, 2023. It states that I would get a response within **** business days. As of today, October 9, 2023, I have not received a response. I have called and left messages, I have emailed and to no avail.

I could not have went through this process without them! This was a hard decision to make for my father and they helped me ever single step of the way! ****** and ********* have been absolutely amazing to work with!

Everyone I worked with was very professional, responsive to my emails and questions, and helpful. I could not have gone through this process successfully without Senior Planning.

I was very intimidated with the idea of working w/the *********** to get my mother approved through *****. I had heard a few stories from people that had done it either themselves and got approved or had not gotten approved. Hiring Sr ********************** definitely made the process more approachable. Still a lot of work and effort to gather all the necessary documents and but they made sure to explain why certain documents were needed or why something might not work. Also we were not quite ready to move our Mother to a facility yet so they made it clear that we didn't have to right now but when we were ready they would be there to help. We did sign up for the maintenance program just to be sure we do not do anything to get kicked off and also so that we do not have to repeat the entire process again in a years time. They will do the renewal for us. All in all they were very informative, professional and helpful.

Senior Planning was a great resource for my family. We are more grateful than we can express for ****** helping us through the medical portion of the ***** application. She provided excellent communication from the beginning of the process to the approval. I wasn't aware of "group homes" and there happened to be a lovely one a block away from our house. We walk over daily to visit mom and all of this is covered by *****. I can't thank her and the Senior Planning team enough.

I unexpectedly had to move my mom from MT to ** and needed someone to help guide me through the ***** approval process. Someone at a facility recommended Senior Planning. ********* and ****** expertly led me through the financial and care approval process. They have a great process with excellent communication along the way. I really appreciate all their hard work.

Thank you so much for pushing through. Everything was locked up because of Covid and Senior Planning was able to help me resolve an issue with an ***** renewal.

The team was great at getting my 98 year old mother both VA benefits and ALTCCs benefits. I would not recommend trying to do this on your own! It took quite a while for me to get them the information they needed due to covid restrictions that did not allow me to call from my mothers phone, but the team was supportive and helpful in guiding me through every step of the process. Totally worth the money! Unfortunately, if your loved one dies before the process is finished you will lose that money, but I understand the time and work they put in to do all the steps involved. My only complaint is with the plan they offer afterward to help you stay in compliance. I do think the ball was dropped on that and we ended up having to do some things at the last minute that I did not totally understand and was uncomfortable with. You might do better at doing this yourself or with the help of a financial planner familiar with ALTCCs requirements. Overall, a good review.
