*********************** and Million Dollar Mingle, LLC, assured me of certain benefits if I were to pay $5000 to be an exhibitor at a Million Dollar Mingle event scheduled for Feb 23, 2019. These promises consisted of representations made ****************** and by Million Dollar Mingle, LLC, including verbal assurance, flyers, and other promotional materials for the Event, including the following: ***** affluent people who were registered to attend would interact with me and my exhibition booth; a number of celebrities would be in attendance; a promotional flyer for the Event went so far as to state that specified members of the ************** WNBA, PGA, and *** would all be in attendance, along with a celebrity chef and a celebrity DJ. Representations were made that high-end retail brands such as Rolls ****** *********************, W Hotels, Rolex, and others would also be in attendance and/or sponsoring the Event at a luxury mansion. Furthermore, I was assured that I would be given 3 quality people to help me work my exhibit booth. I began to suspect that the representations made would not come to fruition, so on Feb. 5, 2020, prior to the event, I cancelled my exhibit and was promised a refund by ***********************, who has yet to honor that commitment. After receiving a partial refund payment of $500, ****************** promised that he would provide the balance of the refund in installments of $500, until paid in full. He has failed to make any additional refund payment since, so I attempted to have ****************** served with a Complaint/Summons on Dec. 2, 2020, but a process server was unable to initiate service. I am currently pursuing all avenues available to me to collect the balance due of my refund in the amount of $4500.
