I went to the Arizona Digestive Health clinic in Glendale Arizona. It was suggested that I have a colonoscopy on January 12th. After the visit I was given a packet and told that I would be contacted within a week of the procedure to find out my part of bill. I was not contacted so I called to cancel the Tuesday before. I contacted billing to see how much I owed but the lady was on vacation and was supposed to return on Wednesday. I left a message and never received a called. I called back and was told to contact the Dr. assistant and she did not answer so I left a message. No one called back on Tuesday. I call on Wednesday and finally get the people and informed them I wanted to cancel. A lady that worked there said I would need to pay 150 dollars. I told her I was not paying 150 for failure to plan on their part. She proceeded to say I told you if I didnt call you didnt need to pay anything. Then she said I call last week. Needless to say she then asked did I change my insurance and I said no. Then she goes into I have a ******* verifying it now. If you already verified it why is ******* verifying it why Im on the phone with the lady at Arizona Digestive Health. I spoke with ******* after receiving a text and was assured it was good and no fee. Its not ok to have patients waiting to the last minute to find out what the owe and then try to make the pay 150 because out last minute information. I also have to work because its expensive to live in Arizona and if I didnt need to pay anything why didnt I get a call earlier? Today 1/14/2024 I received a bill for 150 dollars. All this doesnt make sense and I will never worry about dealing with the company because they do not take care of business.
