$2300 was stolen out of my unemployment account through **** of America. I was in disbelief since I was never alerted of any suspicious activity in my account. I filed a fraud claim on April 26th, as soon as I realized my money was stolen. **** of America has denied my claim three times now without giving me any reason why or what results they have found from their investigation. I am in disbelief with how this case is being handled. Im literally on the verge on homelessness because I trusted my bank to investigate properly and now Im out my unemployment money without even a reason as to why my claim is being denied. I was never given any protection. I was not made aware of the suspicious transactions happening to my account.I CHOOSE to bank with several other banks like ***** Fargo and Golden 1 and they would never handle a fraudulent claim like this. They would explain as to what steps were taken in the investigation and as to how they made their determination. The way **** of America has handled this is atrocious and sickening. Not only will I be reaching out to the Executive members to let them know how poorly this has been handled, but I will also be taking to social media to let other unemployed Americans know that their unemployment funds cannot be trusted at **** of America. If my normal bank treated me this poorly, I would close my account but because Im unemployed I have to have this account open and now have to live a paranoid life thinking my money can be stolen at any moment and my bank will do nothing about it, not even give me a reason as to why they will not approve my fraudulent claim.
