I am writing to file a formal complaint against Buzz Technical and its owner, **************************, for their egregious violations of consumer rights and deceptive business practices. The facts are as follows: I brought a Fender ****** electromechanical piano to Buzz Technical for repair of a single issue, specifically, the lack of electric signal generated in the top octave. Despite providing a schematic of the wiring diagram and offering to provide links to the owner's manual and repair manual, ************************** failed to make a good faith effort to address the stated issue.Instead, ************************** performed unauthorized and unnecessary repairs, including replacing capacitors in the preamp, which is not part of the signal chain for the issue at hand. The invoice for these unauthorized repairs exceeded the written estimate, and no estimate of repair was provided. This is a clear violation of A.R.S. 44-1522 and C.F.R. sections 42, 52, and 55 (a)(1).When I attempted to resolve the issue through a phone call, I was met with hostility, verbal abuse, and slanderous statements from **************************. Furthermore, when I challenged the credit card charges, ************************** responded with obfuscation of facts and libelous statements. It is appalling that ************************** would claim that I "wanted free work" and that I "tampered with the item voiding the warranty" by simply plugging the instrument into an amplifier, as intended by the manufacturer. These statements are not only false but also demonstrate a complete disregard for consumer rights and a lack of understanding of the product they are supposed to be repairing. In light of these facts, I request that the BBB take immediate action to address this complaint and hold Buzz Technical and ************************** accountable.I have supporting documents are attached.Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response and resolution.

This must be a joke. that transaction was over two years ago. it was a repair that the guy brought in and was completed. but the guy got all upset that repairing it required new parts. and after he took it home decided that he had an issue with that. then proceeded to bash me and my business on the phone and on line. i performed the repairs to the best that i could. he just wanted it done for free. obviously he's still trying to ruin me an my business over his issue. he just doesn't understand that repairing vintage equipment isnt that easy, and original parts aren't always available. he refused to even bring it back. just had his wife **** me out instead. if he had a problem he should have come back 2 years ago.

************************** was engaged to perform a single task but chose to complete an entirely unrelated and unnecessary task.

    Consider the facts:

    1. ************************** did not provide a proper repair estimate..

    2. ************************** performed work that was not authorized or necessary. As an analogy, his work product amounted to attempting to fix a guitar by replacing tubes in an amplifier.

    These facts are irrefutable.

I continue to work in good faith to provide ************************** with the opportunity to make amends for these actions.

Im sorry but i cant help him. he had the opportunity to bring his equipment back for a recheck as stated in our 90 day guaranty. first he refused, then he lashed out and slandered us and our business. then he waited two years to ask for all of his money back. its just not possible at this time. we have policies that we have to stick to due to abuse from other customers. at this time. due to the experience we had, he's not welcome here anymore.

It's worth noting that ************************** does not contest the foundation of this complaint, as the facts are indisputable.

    To summarize:

    1. ************************** failed to provide a proper repair estimate, which is a violation of both Arizona law and federal regulations.

    2. ************************** performed unnecessary repairs, revealing a clear lack of understanding about magnetic pickup wiring and signal flow. His approach was equivalent to trying to fix a guitar by replacing tubes in an amplifier.

The idea that a reasonable person would return an item to a shop under a "90-day guaranty is implausible, given ****************************** demonstrated actions outlined above. (Note: I believe he meant "guarantee," as "guaranty" has a different and distinct meaning.)

Finally, ****************************** claim that we "slandered him and his business" is unsubstantiated. In contrast, ************************** has engaged in libelous communication with the Better Business Bureau and other third parties.

Thank you for your time and assistance in consideration of this matter.
