9/14/2024 ********** was purchased, they stated they needed to replace the purge valve (which they had part) we also realized the back door wouldnt open, they stated theyd fix it. On 9/20/24 I texted Saif to let them know the check engine light was on and never heard back until 9/27 they stated theyll fix the check engine light problem again and they have the door latch, they stated they fixed the check engine light again and didnt order the right door latch, but they are ordering the right one.. Oct 2nd heard back made arrangements to drop off Oct 3rd- Heard back on Oct 5th that they fixed the check engine light again and the door latch part didnt work and theyll order it, be there Wednesday theyll mail it to **. Oct 10th texted about door latch never heard back. Oct 13th texted again to let them know check engine light was on yet again and yet again same problem! Didnt hear back until Oct 16th from a manager stating the car was sold as is (which was never mentioned in ad or in person) Nov 2nd went to get a oil change and mechanic noticed a significant oil/coolant leak that has been there for months and months due to all the muck, so we had to have it taken to ********** for a proper inspection and to get oil/coolant leak fixed and for them to fix any other defects to the Land Rover that was NOT disclosed.. **** stated last maintenance was done April 2024, so in that time frame either the person changing the oil didnt disclose the leak or it was covered up and sold. And by the looks of this companies reviews were not the only ones thats dealing with a lemon car and incompetent dealership.SELLING a car that cant pass emissions is AGAINST THE *** Warranty is a joke (which they know) since it doesnt cover an actual certified dealer who knows how to fix certain brands of vehicles. This car has only been driven a handful of times since owning it due to check engine light and coolant issues*Business Response

business needs held accountable for not providing door latch, not disclosing info about car before selling! Its illegal to sell a car like they did.. Check the reviews of others who have had the same issue all around the same time frame as ours! Ill escalate this to a legal matter at this point, if they cant resolve the issues that they were incompetent to fix themselves and to provide the parts they said they would.Initial Complaint

On 12/26/23 I responded to an online advertisement for an Acura TSX at this dealership. I received a text message and texted back that I was on my way to see the vehicle. When I arrived, they were changing the battery (which I later learned was their way to erase diagnostic trouble codes) so there was quite a delay in being able to test drive the car. I put $5,000 down as a deposit for the car charged to my credit card. The charge showed up on my credit card as "SQ *********************************" but the dealership is Carz R Us and the salesman/manager was *************************, I have no idea who ***************************** is nor do I know why my credit card was charged by him/her.During the transaction, ***** quoted me prices to replace the tires and repair front seat leather. He said he "had a guy" that could do it but they were closed for the day so he would check the next day when they opened. I messaged him the next day, 12/27/23 and the prices he was giving me were much higher than the day before and then he was saying "his guy" was "out of town" and I had to find someone else. I did not have the car with me to get a quote and the tires needed replacing. I messaged him 12/27/23 @ 4:36 pm, less than 24 hours after putting the deposit down, "I can't move forward with buying as it is not as advertised and not fit for the ordinary purposes of personal use."Then the next day 12/28/23 I texted him at 11:16 am "Please refund my credit card we won't be moving forward with the car."***** texted back at 11:20 am "Ok sounds good." I don't know who ***************************** is, My first cancellation was less than 24 hours after making the deposit. The second cancellation was less than 48 hours after putting the deposit down and requesting a refund. ***** also forged my signature on the used car warranty.I texted ***** 1/16/24 asking why they hadn't refunded me yet, no response. They won't refund my money, I didn't get the car.Business Response

I purchased a 2009 ****** Corolla on 9/12/2023. I was told the car was in safe operating condition without any problems except it needed rear shocks, and paidin cash and in full for the price of $3500.00. Within the first 3 days the car overheated and the check engine light came on. When I contacted the dealership, they said to bring it back to have it serviced at no cost. I asked to trade it back for another vehicle without the two aforementioned issues or getting the money back for it and was told no, because they claimed it was a perfectly running vehicle. I parked the car because it was not a safe or reliable vehicle and had it diagnosed by an outside mechanic's shop. The diagnostic revealed it had low pressure in all pistons and needed an engine replacement. I returned it to the dealership so they could fix the car as they promised. When I later asked about the status of my vehicle, the response was the car wouldn't overheat when they drove it, but the check engine light is on because it needed an ambient sensor, and I would have to pay $150 if I wanted them to fix it. Additionally, I was then informed for the first time that the vehicle also needs brakes and they stated that I was told about this before purchasing. When I said I was only informed of the need for rear shocks I didn't get a response. I have this in writing as it was a text conversation. The car is still currently at the dealership and I'm unsure how to proceed. I would like to get the purchase price returned as I was deceived about the condition of the car. They car lot is "*********" located at *************************************************************. The contact number listed online is **********.Business Response

this customer had her father come in and view the car for her. He loved the car and said it was more than fair what we were asking for in price. The father wrote a check and paid the car off for his daughter. Her name was no where on the purchase order. She called to come pick it up, couple days later she called in to return the car because she didnt like it. We told her there is nothing we can do for her because her father purchased the car and was made well aware it needed new shocks. Her father was contacted and said he did not want to return the car, she came into business being very disrespectful, her boyfriend that was with her told her she had a good car for the price paid and made her leavenever heard from her againInitial Complaint

In November 2022, my son purchased a vehicle from Carz r Us. Traded in his vehicle and paid the difference through a loan from his credit union. Within 2 days of driving vehicles, multiple issues occurred such as overheating. Car diagnostic from mechanic shop, showed that vehicle had multiple serious and priciey ************** replacement of water pump, radiator, head gasket. After dealer agreeing to fix and kept for several weeks, immediate after pick up, car over heating again. They "forgot" to change radiator as dealer says. Refuses to give me a print out of work completed. Car was still having excessive smoke coming from exhaust pipe. Completed second diagnostic to see if any work was even done. After a thorough review, mechanic recommended an engine replacement due to the extensive damage done by previous owner due to lack of maintenance. We were quoted at a cost of $6k for the engine replacement. Carz R Us refuses to acknowledge that anything is wrong with vehicle and only offered to do an oil change as a fix to engine replacement. They say vehicle was in perfect condition when we purchased it. How could we have caused such damage in the 4-5 times that we have only been able to drive it since we have not had the opportunity for much use due to mechanical issues. My son is now stuck with a $20k loan making monthly payments and no car. Has to rely on friends and family to take him to and from work every day. It's been an absolute nightmare to say the least. Carz R Us is knowingly selling vehicles with serious and pricey mechanical issues and passing the headache onto it's consumers.Business Response

This matter has not been resolved and I have not had any contact with Carz R Us LLC since 8-24-2022, other then several complaints that I have filed. I have never taken possession of this vehicle and was told of additional problems that were not disclosed with it after a down payment was made. There is also questions that raise red flags regarding the information submitted to the finance company that I did not provide to Carz R Us LLC.Business Response
