I have hired Optimex as a pest control company. I was promised I won't see any cockroaches after 3 months. It seems like it got worse. I am now moving out of ******** and trying to explain that I want to cancel my contract with Optimex and they are telling me that I need to pay a 250$ cancelation fee. I was never told about any of the cancellation fees whatsoever, otherwise, I would have found a different company to take my business to. I don't understand why do I have to pay the cancellation fee if I need to move. Also, my fiance seems to be allergic or maybe sensitive to whatever they spray so it became a medical issue now as rash and trouble breathing show up every time Optimex sprays around. They dared to say that they came and provided service when no one was home and my agreement with the tech lady that came initially was that the issue is inside. I have security cameras which would have notified me if anyone was at the door or around the house but it did not show up anything the day they claim service was done. Now not only that they want the 250$ for the cancelation fee, but also 80$ for the imaginary service that they claim they have done. I would much rather take this matter to court as I am moving out of ******** than to pay for a service that first of all I won't be at this house anymore and second of all we are allergic to it and not the least, we have more bugs than before.
