This practice has been trying to bill me for incorrect services over the past 2 years. The *** codes they are using are not correct and my insurance company confirmed that the *** 10 codes and the billing codes are incorrect. Pre-natal care is fully covered under my insurance, incorrect coding for a pre-natal appointment was applied and they are attempting to charge me with visits that are covered by insurance. I switched practices and had no problems with billing since as the new practice correctly bills insurance companies. This place is attempting to incorrectly bill patients. When I called to complain the receptionist in charge of billing was clueless in how to process claims and correctly reach out to insurance providers. I work in health care and this is a violation and crime to take advantage with incorrect coding. My hope is that they are able to correct this billing error and refund me money that was incorrectly charged at previous services.

This is totally incorrect and we have not received any official notification from your insurance indicating incorrect coding on our part. Our billing team submits claims using standardized ICD-10 and CPT codes that align with the services rendered. Claims were coded and billed appropriately. Global package was broken because of the transfer of care so therefor copay, deductible and or co-insurance was applied per your insurance company. It states on the *** from your insurance, ***** is due for the office visits. There's absolutely NO violation or crime here nor do we EVER take advantage of our patients with incorrect coding.  If you feel YOUR insurance processed your claim incorrectly, ask them to call ********, Practice Manager at ****************** to discuss this further.
