I just learned last week what I'm about to report. In Dec. 2015, this MVD office was given the attached Title Application to process and re**rd. This *** Office in**rrectly re**rded OR, NOT AND on the Official Title that has been in the hands of the **************** and Harley ******** for 7 Years. In March 2022, I paid the loan off on this motorcycle that is CO OWNED with *****************************. Due to the *** ERROR in re**rding OR, not AND, ****** was able to illegally sell my property back to the original seller, ****************************. I did everything right in the purchase of this motorcycle by protecting MY FINANCIAL interest in having the legal documents put in AND Ownership. I would of never agreed to ** own this property and pay it off had this not been done. However, the *** made a clerical error **sting me $700 Dollars in debt I am not able to get from the sell of this bike. I am holding the *** and Harley ******** responsible for making this mistake that has only been to my detriment. Everyone else has gained in this mistake.

**** review. I suggest not going to this place if you have a disability. The time was 345pm to 445pm.The manger name is ***************The other staff member name is ****.**** was not explaining how anything worked to transfer out of state title from my sister's name to in state title in my name. She got the manager ******* to come over. Immediately she was rude to my sister and I.We asked ******* to explain the process. She wouldn't explain it.******* then told my sister to take off her sunglasses. That she wasn't allowed to where them in the building. My sister said "I have to keep my sunglasses on for my disability and I don't need to explain why to you."******* said if she didn't take them off then we couldn't do anything and threw the title at us.I said "why are you being so rude to people with a disability? All we want to know is what we need to do to get the title transfered from her name to my name"******* said "oh your going to play the disability card?"I got really upset. My sister and I are both disabled.I told ******* we are both disabled we need you to explain what it means. She wouldn't answer any of our questions. ******* said "you are not disabled and you need to leave or I will call the cops."I asked for someone higher up than her. She said she was the higher up person. So I told her I will file a complaint to the **** Which I did.She then left the area and brought the owner of the business out.We told him what happened. He answered all our questions in a nice manner. My sister and I both felt discriminated against. Broke my self esteem and I felt violated.

ORIGINAL REVIEW ON ******* Negative 100 review. ******* the manager is soooo rude. And discriminated against my disability. I will never go back. And I suggest if you are disabled never to go here!!!! I had to file complaint to BBB and **** MVS'S COMMENT IN REGARDS TO YOUR REVIEW (please see ****** reviews): "We are sorry you feel you were discriminated against, we would never intentionally or unintentionally discriminate in any manner of business. Being asked to remove your sunglasses is a state mandate for pictures and is also necessary to verify identity of individuals conducting state business in our office" ~ YOUR UPDATED COMMENT: "Here is my response to the comments this business left about my review. Who said anything about sunglasses" OWNERS RESPONSE TO YOUR BBB REVIEW AND YOUR UPDATE: Sunglasses may not have been mentioned when you left the ****** Review, but that is what it was all about, right? According to your BBB review. I, the owner, talked with ***** and **** today. It was my understanding that **** was trying to explain the **** policies on a Motor Home Title Transfer to no avail. I know the stigma for coming into an MVD office is not the best and customers are already uptight. However, in our office, we do run it a little different than the field offices. That is, with more respect and the best customer service. However, if customers are not willing to cooperate with us, it is hard for us to convey the message. Per ****, she was trying to let you know that ****'s policy on motorhomes is that they can not have the make and model of a car. For instance, your title said ****. It should have said something like Itasca, Or Winnebago. So, **** told the seller that they need to bring the motor home to us for an inspection. At that time we can transfer the title to the new owner. When ***** stepped into the discussion, she also told the seller, the same thing. (The seller stated that they could not bring the motor home to us because they were leaving the next day for back home). At that time, ***** told the sellers that it was not a big deal because we can have the sellers sign off on the out-of-state title, give the title to the buyers and the buyers can come down anytime after and get the motor home inspected, titled and registered without the sellers. We just needed the signature of the sellers on the Title. However, the Signatures needed to be notarized. This is where the Taking off the Glasses came into the picture. ***** was not rude about the seller taking off the glasses until you flat out said that the seller was disabled and the glasses were not going to come off no matter what. ***** tried to explain that it is state policy for us to verify who a person is before we can notarize any document. Therefore, the face needs to be unobstructed so we can get a clear picture of what the person looks like compared to there ID they present. With having glasses and a face mask on, it is hard to get a good view. Therefore, we would have not been able to get the title notarized. If the Seller would have said, "I have a disability that I can not take my glasses off because the light hurts my eyes", or something to that effect, ***** would have been happy to figure out a different option. However, the seller simply said that they had a disability and WOULD NOT TAKE their glasses off no matter what. In your own statement you admitted to being the rude one saying "I don't need to explain why to you." With that attitude, how is ***** supposed to help you. We are not here to hurt anyone, we are here to help. **** nor *****, would have been that rude to a customer at all. Even at times when our processors take the brunt of the abuse. We listen to people call us names, throw stuff at us, hit our windows, slam our doors and yet, we just take it. Yes, ***** made a comment about asking you to go to the field office to get the work done, because you were making a scene not because of a disability. Not at any time did ***** threaten to call the cops. One of the owners was called in to assist as well as confirming the situation that **** and ***** just explained and that you would have to take your glasses off so ***** can do the Notary. I am glad that one of the Owner could assist you and answered any questions you had. I am to understand that ***** was able to help you with the Notarization before you left. I want to speak candidly. We have been open for ********************************************** bad, nice or rude, happy or upset. It is our Values to be patient, positive, team player and confident. Our Vision to provide exceptions customer service and our Mission to be committed to friendly, professional, quality service in a timely manner. I really hope that you can see past this incident and come talk with me so we can prove that we are not what you think. Especially, discriminatory against anyone.

No. That is not at all what happened. It did not have anything to do with sunglasses. We were treated like pieces of trash. **** was not explaining to me in a way I could understand at first(she then did later). ******* came over with an attitude right from the start. I have witnesses. Here is how it went.I asked **** how do we change the out of state title over to my name. She looked it up and could not find it in the system. So I asked what do we do(I have never tried to change an out of state title before So I had no clue what it was all about). We have to get his name off of the title because he is leaving the state. She said in, apparently, terms I don't understand or couldn't comprehend( which is a symptoms of my disability ). Asked her to explain what this stuff means. She wasn't capable of it at the time.Everything was totally calm at this point. The owners of the title whom also have disabilities needed me to help out (also related to each other) because they didn't know either.I do not need to explain all this but maybe it will help you.So then the owners of the title said your not answering the questions. And asked the exact same questions I did. We asked about 5 times. **** went and got *******. Right from the very start ******* had an attitude. She did NOT say NOT ONE TIME any reasoning behind taking off sunglasses. She said you need to take off those sunglasses. You are not allowed to wear them INSIDE THE BUILDING. Now if we knew there was a reason for it. She would of gladly taken them off. No big deal. But she DID NOT. So she told ******* she is not taking them off because of her disability. And yes she said she doesn't need to explain it to her. No one needs to explain any disability to anyone EVER. And no one at any business should ask. I am not 100 percent sure but I am pretty sure your not allowed to. Anyways. ******* then threw the title at us and said if you don't take off the sunglasses then you need to leave.I said why are you being so rude to people with a disability. She said oh your going to play that card. Now thats when I got ****** off. And then she deliberately looked away from me and started talking to the other person with us. That really really ****** me off. So he told me he is going outside to wait. She yelled(when he was already at the door to exit) no he needs to come back inside. He said no I do not need to do anything and stepped out.It was then said do we need to call the cops(might not of been *******). We still never got any answers to how to get it done. So I told her I wanted to speak with the manager. She said she was the manager. I said okay who is higher up than you. She said she was the higher up person. Then all of a sudden when I said I was going to report her. She ran and got the owner. **** then explained to us if we just got the title notarized then I could bring in the ** to get some sort of inspection then it can get switched over even though he is leaving. We won't need him for any of that. So at least we got that explained and got it notorized.Man it would of saved alot of mess if we just got this to begin with. And it was explained to us by the owner that you can't have sunglasses on to get the title notarized to look at the person against their ID. Okay so why was that so hard for ******* to say? Why did she come at us like that?No she said (with an attitude) you are not allowed to wear sunglasses IN THE BUILDING. And that we were trying to play some card or something. Whatever that even means? So yes I did report ******* to the **** And next time I need something I rather go to the regular dmv. Its so so much easier. I still don't know what an inspection is???? I still never got an answer to that question. But thats okay I will ask the regular dmv or adot. What is a field office? No one even said that.
