PMG Services is wanting all Owners at *********************** *********************************. to pay a $1404 special assessment for painting the outside of all the condos starting Jan. 2022. We pay 172 per month for dues. 12 month division would be a additional $117 bringing total of $289 per month to PMG. In a pandemic this is a unnecessary expense. Most of us are barely holding on to our condos. I'm disabled & running out of savings but can continue to pay the $172 but not the $289 per month. HOA's can put liens on your homes if you don't pay. They scheduled a vote for 60% approval, then reduce it to 30% approval if they don't Receive? enough votes and won't release the information until 2 -3 days later after they have decided. Painting is not a priority or needed. We have cracks in the parking lot and sidewalks throughout our Condos, even that can wait until year 2023Business response

PMG Services is the professional management company for *********************** ************************ we work at the direction of the ***** of **************** The ***** voted to proceed with a special assessment which is ultimately decided by a vote of the membership. There is an established process for special assessments in the governing documents of the association, PMG Services has followed said process. The person placing this complaint can vote against the special assessment but is one vote, if the vote passes it is the will of the membership.Customer response

End the vote for special assessment. The way it is designed, we cannot trust the process. It's a no win scenario for the ownersBusiness response
