      Low Cost Interlock provides breath devices for in vehicle use. I've had service with *** on and of for approximately 2 years. The service had be degrading rapidly during that time. With downgraded call in response, no answer, no scheduling for unit problems and no recourse for many client as they are required to have the unit functional in all owned vehicles to maintain a valid Driver's License. Holding members hostage, but breaching the contract they are binded to for their very freedom. My personal dilemma started in October 2024 when my unit started malfunctioning. After repeated attempts to contact *** by phone (to no avail) I left an email message. They scheduled me an appointment for a replacement at their vendor for Thursday November 7th. 2:30 pm (received by email) I made the appointment but should of know there was something strange, as I have noted the vendor didn't take appointments on Tuesday or Thursday. They were a no show, the vendor didn't receive any call or notice from ***. This unit is installed in my wife's vehicle, as I don't drive much, it left her stranded at work. I was able to get it working temporarily to get the vehicle home. After countless attempts to contact Low Cost Interlock, I had the unit removed, as the car was useless for my spouse in the condition it was in. I am still being billed and the account is not closed as of January 5th 2025. The vendor has possession the defective unit and it is assumed returned to ****That all bills were paid, in good faith, until the date of the malfunctiont/breach of contract. I demand cancelation of the account, dismissal of any erroneous fees ($210). Also disillusion of the Contract that was breached by Low Cost Interlock.****** A *****

      I have not been able to use my vehicle for atleast 3-4 months (probably longer) due to issues with this companys equipment. I have reached out numerous times to get issue resolve and no luck. The shop who installs the devices for low cost is aware of my issue and also had issues with this company and its lack of service (low cost claims 24 hours service) and told me to reach out. I have called numerous times, submitted many complaints online on their website and no luck. My removal date was 4/27/24 and they not even reached out to me about that. At this point I have no clue what to do. I cant drive in fear of my vehicle having problems while driving on the road (that happened the first day I had it installed which was dangerous and scary. My vehicle literally stop while driving on the way home and they made me pay for tow). The installers are well aware of the issue and even had reached out to them themselves with no luck. They were supposed to send new device handset but never received because installers said that they sent everything in when all I just needed was the handset. I reached out to them about this again and no luck. I even wrote down the dates that I reached out to them about because they never answer nor return calls and or online messages. I have a feeling they will not only be an issue about this but also take awhile to get this device removed from my vehicle so that Im able to operate it safely.

      The interlock installed in my car almost never works. The company, Low Cost Interlock never picks up the phone when I call. They either hang up after an hour of waiting on the phone, or hang up right away, forcing me to call multiple times. I have waited for hours on the phone, even submitting an emergency website related request, indicating it was an ********** ****** never once contacted me. I use my car rarely because even if I get it started, once I get to my destination, the interlock disallows it from starting again. Then instructions indicate I am supposed to put the interlock in my home overnight. How am I supposed to go somewhere & put the interlock in my home overnight? I should be able to drive my vehicle somewhere & back home again. I have to call everyone I know just to get rides to get anywhere now. My entire life revolves around this interlock device not working. Once I finally do get a rep, they have to clear out the settings just to get the interlock to start working again! My ********** waited multiple hours for a call to go through. I don't know what to do at this point. My life has been put on full stop because of this extremely serious issue that has caused me more problems than I care to even relay here. My vehicle is parked at a supermarket parking ******* had to ask another person to give me a ride home because again, the interlock refused to allow my car to start. So now, I have to find someone to take me back to my vehicle later on this evening to see if my car interlock will start so I can take my vehicle back home! This is ridiculous. I am extremely upset I have to go through deeply frustrating situations regularly, just because I have a useless device. I don't think it's defective, I think all of them work equally as bad because of the input I have received from other customers. What is this company going to do to assist me? I need BBB to find the headquarters to this company so you contact them & not the *** that installed the device.

      I got with low cost interlock because of their lies in their advertising back in October 2023. I payed an insane amount just to start and get it installed and they tacked on a 50 dollar fee whenever possible. Then I hit a deer with my car and they charged me 650 when it shouldve been 500 and even that is a scam considering the device couldve been removed and they chose not to remove it and make me cover the cost which is probably closer to 100 rather than 500. And now I got a device installed in my new car and it stopped working even though I took great care of the device. And now when I call customer service they dont answer and put me on a call back list so I wait literally 2 whole days and they call for 2 seconds and hang up to make sure they dont have to talk to me. This company has wasted days of my life sitting on a phone and thousands of dollars in missed wages and time. I hope they can find some way to repay me for all my lost wages, time and money.

      I was told when scheduling my install that it would be a simple, 2-4hr install. It's now 9 days later and I don't have my car back. I've spent over 12hrs on hold, have called the business over 35 times, and have still not been able to find a resolution. The service center no longer wants to work with LCI either. I've been treated rudely (such as being placed on hold mid-sentence after asking to be heard out) and neglectfully (having waited hours to reach someone, starting to speak with someone then been transferred to a voicemail where I was never called back). They failed to provide the service center with the correct documentation/ppwk. The service center could not reach them. I had to facilitate the entire process, only to find that my vehicle is not compatible with their device, which I was assured by LCI would not be an issue. I've now been calling for four days to get the work order sent for the device to be uninstalled from my vehicle. The service center can't legally uninstall without a work order from LCI, and despite daily continued efforts, I've only been able to get an uninstall scheduled with no work order sent. The uninstall appt was at 9am this morning and I am now going on 3.5hrs on hold, because the first 2hr hold call was dropped with no notice. Nobody can be reached. Nobody cares.I've asked for a supervisor repeatedly and been denied. I've had to pay out of pocket for things that are not at all my fault which is fraudulent. LCI should not be able to operate with this state of neglectful dysfunction. My car's been held against my will for nine days now when I was told it would be a 2-4hr job, solely because this company is neglectful to both their clients and service providers, and they just do not care. I have been pushed to tears multiple times a day. I just want my money back for this entirely preventable fiasco that's left me without my car on Christmas and possibly New Year's now but I'm still on hold. Worst business experience of my life.

      I had an interlock device installed in my vehicle and in less than 2 months device quit working. After spending 5 hours trying to resolve it was decided I needed to have vehicle towed to a service center. ******* center said there was a bad blocker on device and it wouldnt be till next day before a new one could be shipped and installed the next day. At that point had no choice but to get hotel room for the night until new part could be installed in vehicle the next day. I have submitted receipts many times and have been told a reimbursement would be coming but has never been followed through.

      I have an ignition interlock installed in my truck. I have to get a calibration done every month. The businesses I get the calibration done at are telling me they changed the system and cannot do a calibration until they get a certain adapter. They business gives you a 7 day grace ****** to get the calibration done and its now passed that so my truck will not start at all now. Now I have to get it towed to get the calibration done. The businesses still have not received the adapter to do so. Ive been calling everyday to speak to someone and they just hang up on me. I pay them monthly fees for this device and now theyre not helping me with my vehicle. I have a job and a life and theyre leaving me stranded. Theyre doing absolutely nothing except taking my money.

      I have a suspended license due to bad readings with my faulty device. Nobody cares about my freedom I might be arrested by the time this is resolved so thanks low cost I appreciate it.

      The equipment placed in my car is faulty. It is passing tests then failing the next test in 5 minutes then passing me on the re test. This is causing me to take my device in for recalibration almost weekly at $30 a trip plus having to take time off work to take it in. This has been happening for several months and is causing me violations with the state who is requiring me to have this. I have tried numerous times to contact the company and have left multiple messages but have not received any calls back. I have asked to speak with a supervisor but they keep transferring me to technical support who does not answer or return calls due to staffing issues. My car has me locked out and I cannot reach anyone to resolve the issue.
