I purchased a brand new home that ***** Walker of Walker electrician was the builder he also has a company called ****************** license number ******, there were many things wrong when the walk-through was done and was promised by the superintendent that everything would be taken care of after giving list and several months was told that people were going to come and fix my home I work for a living Im 60 years old and I told them that they had to schedule with me so I could take the time off of work and make sure I was home because most the work was gonna be done inside the house and some on the outside but I have three dogs the first problem we had was that they wanted to come into my house without me being here and that was not acceptable to me they would show up at my house at 8 oclock in the morning when I was getting ready for work and said they were told to come over I told them they had to make an appointment with me exchange phone numbers then the assistant from Walker electric/interest corporation would call and tell me I was being very difficult because I would not let them in my house when I was getting ready to go to work I also told her I needed to have a time and a few days notice that I could just not take off work ! I support myself when the superintendent would show up he would argue with me about the things that need to be done he told me I only paid ******* for the house what did I expect then he would tell me that the house was up to standards for Arizona when I took it further they finally sent people over to fix my house and that was it A disaster they were very disrespectful did not do the work correctly made it look worse than it was I have pictures to prove it I still have other problems that havent even been resolved and its been a year since Ive been here I do not understand how they can get away with this and act and treat the consumer so badly ! And theres so much more!

I am very disappointed with the way this company handled their billing process. I was given an estimate for the work to be done and ended up paying more than the top end of my estimate. The written estimate I received was for three hours work with one man coming out to do the work then I was charged for two men coming out to do the work which is a higher rate. Also my appointment time for them to come out to do the work was between 8 and 9 AM and they did not show up until after 10 oclock I received no phone calls no explanations and no apologies. Also I believe they overcharged me for the amount of time they were here. they were here approximately two hours and seven minutes and I was charged for 2 1/2 hours of labor. My estimate was for three hours work and that the charge would be between $350 and $400. I ended up paying $432.34. I was not notified that there would be two men coming out to do the work . They just sent two men and charged me the higher rate. My job was a relatively small job consisting of replacing a GFI receptacle installing a new outside GFI and moving a light fixture on the house. Beware of this company as they seem to give you one estimate and then charge you a higher amount.

Thank you for the review. We apologize for any inconvenience we may have caused; however, there are a few comments we would like to address.First, both our office staff and techs apologized multiple times for the scheduling error. It was our fault, and we accept full responsibility, to say otherwise is simply not true. Second, the estimate only gave a projected time frame of three hours. It does not state that it would include labor for one tech, and although it might seem like a relatively small job to you, it may not be as straight forward as it seems. It is our knowledge, experience, and skill that make it appear easy and that is what you are requesting, and expecting, when contacting a licensed contractor. Electricity can be extremely dangerous, and for safety reasons, all our crews are comprised of a minimum of two techs. Also, it is standard practice for many companies to charge for travel time to and from a job. The three hours on estimate not only included labor, but travel time to the project location. We do not charge for the return travel time. The two and a half hours was for the entire project, as stated. Finally, we understand your frustration for the final total exceeding the estimate by $32.34. While it is not uncommon for projects to exceed the estimated amount, especially given the ever-rising cost of materials, we honor our estimates. However, our offer to adjust the invoice total to a more acceptable and closer to the estimated amount, was adamantly refused. We, again, apologize for the scheduling error that resulted in the late arrival, and accept responsibility for that and only that.
