I ordered several pieces of furniture from Norwood Furniture for our new home on Nov. 29th 2021. On this day I also designed and ordered a table with a saleswoman named ****. We spent several hours designing a table, chairs, and matching barstools. At the end of the meeting (the table I designed was created in a 3D model on a computer screen) she printed me off a picture of the table and I signed off on it and gave a deposit of $3,213.29. The table was due to arrive April 29th 2022. After months of delays the table was finally delivered on July 6th 2022. The moment it arrived I knew something was wrong. The table had several dig marks on it and was not the clean sleek table top that I had ordered. The delivery driver called into the office for me and I spoke to a woman named *****. She was a manager and agreed to take the table, chairs, and barstools back. The delivery drivers removed the product and sent it back to the store. A few hours later another manager named **** called me and was extremely rude. He told me that I needed to take back the table or pay a 30% restocking fee. After refusing he lowered the charge to 20%. I still refused and now he is saying that the only way he will return the product that was not ordered the way I requested is to pay a $900 restocking fee. They've already taken back the product! This was a mistake on the salespersons part and the table received does NOT look like the one I signed off on. They did offer to re-order a table top, however, it will take another 7-8 months for it to arrive and that just doesn't work for me. Had the order came as I ordered and how the rendering that I approved, I would not be trying to return this. I am only wanting a refund because it was not received as I ordered it. This was a mistake on Norwood Furnitures side, not mine. Their mistake should not be costing me $900. I want to be clear that this isn't because I simply changed my mind. This is not what I ordered.
