My son switched DMEs in 12/23 to Aveanna Medical Solutions for his Enteral Feeding Supplies. The first couple of weeks were a pain because both the doctors office and Aveanna kept claiming they were sending faxes to each other but never receiving them. I had to play middle man when I shouldnt have had to. Anyway, all of the appropriate paperwork with duplicate supply information and clinical notes were finally confirmed. 12/29/23 I received my sons first monthly shipment and one critical item was missing (and still is); *************************. I confirmed with the doctors office that the entire list I gave them was sent in. They confirmed; they had actually faxed the actual physical copy I gave them. Aveanna and the doctors office kept pointing fingers throughout 01/2024. Finally, I was able to get an email address for the paperwork to be resent to Aveanna and had the doctors office CC me in the email. Sure enough they sent required prescription order. About 30 minutes later I received a generic automated email from Aveanna stating that the doctors office e was trying to change the original **; they werent trying to change anything, they were fixing Aveanns mistake from December! The email said that either the ** didnt follow x, y or z, or that they never sent clinical notes. By this time my son had received two months of orders without ************************* and we are in 02/2024. I reviewed the prescription and no surprise it met x, y, z, so no problem there. And in order for us to receive two months of supplies Aveanna had to have the clinical paperwork from the original faxings. We wouldnt have received supplies otherwise. So on 2/16/2024 I informed ********* (who had previously been rude to me several times) that I need them to fix this or I was filing a BBB complaint. No surprise, like magic, she informed me all of the paperwork was being processed and allow 7-10 days (the 25th) for completion. 2/29/2024 I received the 3rd month shipmentno bags.
