    We received a coupon from advertisement from Autumn heating and cooling for tune up for AC unit for 59.95, we call and paid over 225.00 for service call after Tech was done and he add Freon, Tech stated we need 2 more units of Freon, plus one free dose of Freon, Tech stated all was good on AV and we should be good for a year. The AC was cooling etc and he left. The Service call was for AC Tune, no service was done, all tech done was check temperatures' inside home , but he added Freon and stated it should be ok now, no tune up was done, he only added Freon that lasted only for 4 days, we only received cool air for 4 days and unit became to struggle again during high temp hours of 1-6pm, during the morning early, AC cool normally but afterward it does not cool. I call the service department and told them what happen, they send same Tech guy back who now says we have a Leak in AC and we need to replace coil for 1300.00, he never told us about a possible leak and now charging for Freon.

    My mother in law's A/C unit was not efficiently cooling her home, she called Autumn Air to come out and assess the problem to which they said that they would send a tech out to check on the unit. after inspecting the unit, it was determined to be a return valve, no other problems were discovered other than they would also have to recharge the system after replacing the valve, total cost of the job was ******* that my wife paid and that it would be guaranteed for a full year. 3 days later the system broke down again and the same tech came to her house and now told her that the compressor and fan motor were shot. the unit she had was installed by Autumn Air in 09/2013, mind you that this is happening in 07/2023 this unit also had a 10 year warranty which means she had 2 months left under warranty, but didn't bother to tell her that, instead they tell her she is going to need a brand new 5 ton unit at a cost of ********* with a rebate of ******* which when confronted on that they said there was never a rebate offered her word against the technicians and for her to finance the unit there would be a finance fee of ******** because they said they had to run the application more than once. Mind you this is an elderly lady and man that live on Soc/sec. After finding out that this had transpired my wife asked why the ******* wasn't applied to the new unit since the valve didn't "fix" the issue? Their response was that they would send the part to my wife. The last straw when dealing with these people was when they inferred that my mom in law might be suffering memory loss when she couldn't remember everything about the rebate situation, stating " She is elderly" remember??So why is Autumn Air collecting a ******* fee, after all they didn't finance the unit!! Definitely Buyer Beware when dealing with this company! For a more accurate look at this company read the Yelp reviews, I only wish Mom did!! I had to leave 1 star because zero is not allowed!!
