My pickup was impounded from my RV SITE. A site that I am two months ahead on the rent, and had permission to park. During the night, well after midnight, the towing company that patrols the area "AXLE TOWING AND IMPOUND" somehow entered my locked vehicle wrapped the seat belt around the steering wheel, and towed it to their impound yard.AXLE TOWING AND IMPOUND left nothing indicating what happened. When I went outside to go to work in the morning I naturally thought it had been stolen.I called the ****************** who transferred me to the sheriff's office. The deputy checked it out and informed me of my properties location.First of all I would like to make note that the woman that I interacted with in this formal complaint was professional and courteous. However the man in the office directly behind her, ended up being the opposite of that.I asked who from BrightHaven "the rv site",called to have my pickup towed. She said "*****, we patrol that area.I then asked why my truck was impounded and the two other trucks parked identically to mine weren't. She said sometimes there's an emergency call and the have to go there. I asked if they had an emergency, she said no. Then informed me that BrightHaven called earlier that morning and said it was OK to park there. I said that didn't think I should have to pay a fine because I had done nothing wrong.I don't have enough characters remaining here for everything that the man yelled at me when she relayed that sentence. He offered to lower the ****** from 285 to 200.He yelled obscenities and threats towards me when I stated that I was parked where I was supposed to and shouldn't have to pay anything.I lost $200, $12.95 for LYFT, and a day's wages for no reason except for the predatory actions of AXLE TOWING AND IMPOUNDS.The term "predatory" is not my word, it was used by both manager and maintenance of the rv site BrightHaven.

This company was hired by ****************************************** Apartments to troll the parking lot at night and try and find Cars where the Registration may have lapsed recently and tow them. Not cars of non residents illegally parked or anything like that. ****************************************** hires them and gives them free rein to do that to residents who already pay too much rent and are nickeled and dimed to death. So Axle Towing sends their vultures to troll residents who are paying to park a car there and tow it in the middle of the night. Leave you not knowing where the vehicle is and without any contact with the resident before hand. I had an old work truck. A **** **** F 150 that I took to register. I took it to the ridiculous emissions test 4 times. It didnt fail, but it would read Not Ready each time. I called an emissions mechanic find what was wrong. Took it back to emissions. Again, Not Ready. The Registration lapsed. I was going out of town for a month. I parked the truck in my assigned spot. Told the office the situation and I would address it when I came back. I come back and its been towed. Now Axle Towing wants $285.00 to release it. I refuse to pay this company for seizing upon this opportunity to milk $285.00 out of me. What a low life stunt. I also blame ****************************************** Apartments for treating an honest on time paying resident in this manner. Very bad treatment from a landlord. I would never refer them to anyone.
