On 06/14/2025 at 11:52pm (Saturday night) my vehicle was unlawfully towed from my residence/apartment complex. I was home at the time. There were no clear signs detailing that Axle towing does patrols on this property and can tow vehicles that they deem to be double parked. My vehicle was not double parked by Arizona legal definition. I was not provided notice of the tow within 24 hours as required by AZ state law. After speaking to the apartment manager who contacted their representative from Axle the towing fee was reduced to $160 but when I went to pick my vehicle up and expressed, I would like to contest the unlawful tow, the lady at the counter said I had to pay $352. I have asked for pictures to which none have been provided. This entire situation has been unlawful.

The lease agreement for our apartment property says were required to receive a 24 hr notice BEFORE getting towed, this company watched me go out to my car at around 2 o clock, then proceeded to tow it after with no notice, no communication, no warning or even an uttered word. I still have yet to receive a notice or information letting me know my car was towed and had to find out myself through the non emergency line. We have seen them stalking out cars to tow multiple times (by sitting in the lot and waiting for people to either park or leave their cars.

On April 24, 2025, my vehicle was towed by Axle Towing from an HOA property in *******, **. The invoice total was $462.80, which I paid in full on April 28, 2025. The reason listed for the tow was not displaying current registration. However, the vehicle is legally registered in another U.S. state that no longer issues registration stickers. I provided documentation showing that the registration was valid at the time of the tow. I contacted the company by email and phone. During the call, I was told I had broken the law by not registering the car in *******, which is incorrect. I am not an ******* resident, and the car is only kept in ******* temporarily for occasional use. State law allows this. Axle Towing has not responded to my request for a refund. The tow was clearly based on incorrect information, and I believe I was charged unfairly. I am requesting a full refund.

This people are racketeering! go read the **** reviews this company is a disgrace to honest tow truck companies. They have towed multiple cars they had no business towing and do shady price gouging when ever they feel necessary. I have video evidence of them selectively picking who they tow and dont from my complex. Someone need to shut this down immediately.

On Wednesday, December 4 Axel Towing illegally towed my truck from a *************** lot at **********************. I had parked it there on Monday Night at 9:00pm spoke to ******** management and they were ok with me leaving it for no more than 48 hours. The truck was not there more than 30 hours, the company that handles ******** security did not call to have the **** police orange tag it. When I called the Axel Towing I spoke to an EXTREMELY RUDE AND NASTY WOMAN, who when I asked the name of the company who called it in, the time it was called in and the name of the person who called, she put me in a 20 min hold then tried to tell me the truck was sitting for 4 days and was past the 48 hrs timeline from the tag. I told her it was never tagged by ********, the security company or *******, and informed her I would be reporting the truck stolen she screamed called me a few explicit names and tied it to AJ!

I was parked in a handicapped parking spot with a handicapped placard in place and they still towed my car. My car was locked with my emergency break on, my car is a standard. They had to break into my car to get the emergency break off in order to tow my car.

My car got towed on a private property without anyone reporting it and without zero warning on Saturday November 09, 2024, in the middle of the night. We were parked for less than 20 minutes. I had to pay $400.00 for them to release my car, they didn't even provide a receipt for me. I feel like they just drive through places without any authority and take your car over very minor, non-illegal issues, without the complex or police even reporting it. There were no signs on the street giving a warning.

I have lived at the ************* for over 1.5 years with the same vehicle. I have never had a windshield replaced nor have I ever had a license plate change. Monday morning on 3/25/2024 I walked into the garage to go to work, only to find my vehicle gone. Due to the issues we have had with two of our own guests being towed, I had a feeling that is what transpired as I always lock my car and their was no evidence of broken glass to get into the vehicle. I came upstairs and contacted the towing company for the property and was told me vehicle was towed for improper identification (the hanging placard was not on my car mirror) that I was a resident at the apartment complex. I informed that I had a sticker bar code on my vehicle which was one way of identifying that I was a resident. Per emails from the company and lease agreement. They told me they couldn't see it and the pictures provided by the driver didn't show the sticker. I called back 3 times and was told to "shut up." I was hung up on each time. I finally spoke to a woman named ***** who helped me out and informed me that my vehicle in fact did have the proper sticker. She stated they would release the vehicle back to me free of charge. I asked for my vehicle to be towed back at no charge and no charges from the initial tow. They told me it was impossible to tow my vehicle back and if I didn't get it today I would be charged storage fees. I have no way on a Monday morning to get to my vehicle. I was told to "uber." I missed out an entire day of work as I work in **********,**. I contacted the police to file a stolen vehicle report as it was illegally towed with the proper documentation stating I was a resident. The apartment complex has tried to advocate for me and nothing is working. I quite literally cant get a ride ***** minutes to *************** for a vehicle that was wrongfully taken. They need to be fined and held to the standard.

On 3/4/24 Axle Towing went to a lot and towed my car. The lot that my car was park is next door to a domestic shelter where I am residing. The office business that the lot is part of is aware that people from the shelter parks there and that they have no problems with us parking there. **** claims that someone there called about an abandoned car on there lot, I talked with the business owners and they all said that they did not call to have my car towed, I also call and talk to the owner of the business suites and the lot and he insured me that no one called to report an abandoned car and that also he doesnt use Axle Towing. I work everyday and every other weekend but on this particular weekend I didnt work. I called Axle Towing and they claim that they got a call about an abandoned car from someone from the lots businesses But again I talked with them and they all said no one called about an abandoned car and that they know and are ok with residents from the shelter parking there. After explaining all of this to Axle they changed their original asking price of $288 to $150.. I am positive that Axle Towing illegally towed my car and that they were just on the prowl to make some money. I very much will like my $150 back for the pain and suffering of having to beg people for money to get back my car that was Illegally towed in the first place.. Also I may add that the business lot has NO no parking sign anywhere on the property other than parking in a handicap zone, Axle tried to tell me that there are as another justification for them unlawfully taking my car.
