      Purchased my Range Rover from a used car dealership and went with ASC for an additional extended warranty. Biggest mistake I could’ve done! Never honored what’s covered on the initial warranty. The first few repairs I paid out of pocket due to ASC stating that certain parts weren’t covered! Last Nov. my water pump went out and supposedly was covered, but not the pipes connected to the water pump, so after getting a 2nd mechanic shop’s opinion to look at it, they found out the whole water pump had to be replaced as well as the pipes that wasn’t covered to fix it! Mechanic told me that after contacting ASC that they were rude and told them they would pay only $500 for water pump and the rest was on me! I paid over 6k all together on my parts/labor that clearly states on contract that was supposedly covered. Throughout the past few years ASC didn’t provide any assistance for the coverage! A few wks ago my coolant level was low, so I filled it up with coolant and it poured right out the front of my vehicle. I then attempted to drive it back to a repair shop and it started smoking and shaking it ended up stopping on the highway! Received a call from the mechanic that I’ll need an engine and guess what? ASC said that it’s not covered because they have records stating I had a problem with my water pump last year. I was told that I caused the engine to fail! Explain this to me when the water pump and new pipes that wasn’t covered was repaired last year! Like it’s my fault parts are made out of plastic these days to keep money flowing! ASC is a total scam and out of the thousands I’ve paid out of pocket they paid $500 out of the whole warranty!!! Will NEVER use or recommend them to anyone! You would think it would be a smooth process dealing with a company that is supposed to be there for you when you need them, but it was the total opposite! Once you sign they decline!!!

      I have had 3 different places diagnose my 2018 Toyota with needing the transmission replaced - including a transmission specialist and the Toyota dealership. However, because the transmission isn't reading a code and there is no contamination in the transmission fluid, they won't cover a new (or used) transmission. They are stating that there is no proof that the transmission is the issue while my car sounds like I'm driving a jet airplane due to the ball bearings in the transmission.
