    03/19/2022 On July 17, 2021, I started the process of buying a manufactured home from Timberline Homes of **********, AL. I paid $500 down to secure a home titled "SATISFACTION." A month later, I was informed that they could no longer get that particular home. Therefore, I opted for a bigger home, titled "PRIDE" which was very similar to the original choice. At that time, I paid my deposit of $9,265 , customized the home, and signed off on it. MONTHS PASSED, and I ensured to reach out to the company WEEKLY to check on the status. According to the salesman MONTHS later/October, I was no longer eligible for the home because the price had gone up. At this point, I was willing to settle for something less/anything. Still NO PROGRESS!!! After no progress was made in October, I reached out again, and I was promised that I would spend my first Thanksgiving in my new home. By the 18th of October, he reached out to me, letting me know that the "PRIDE" was dropping in price and requesting additional documents to finalize the purchase. Per request, I submitted everything, but there was still no progress made. November came and went, still nothing. The company then promised to have everything finalized by Christmas, but did not uphold that promise/date either. On January 8th, I requested a refund, which they are refusing to honor. In addition to that, they still did not build the home I customized but rather tried to pass another home off on me that they have on the lot. My original application has expired due to their negligence, and they are not trying to do the necessary to complete the process. To buy time, they just keep asking for additional documents...soooooo UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!!

    We purchased a home almost 9 months ago and some of the initial repair work has still not been completed. Took them 7 months to get our house jacked up level. Our kitchen and dining area was so uneven, that when cooking on our island, the food would run to one side of the griddle. The initial setup crew was terrible ( DAVIS). They didnt hook up our crossover on both sides of house, causing the underbelly to flood when we were trying to fill up our hot water heater. The switches in the guest bath are backwards(still ) the fan is the first switch and the light is the second switch. Our floor joist is still not fixed in the dining area, creating a hazard for uneven walking. This closet door in a guest bedroom was replaced and installed incorrectly to where the place the hinges were supposed to go is just a cut out and the hinges were placed lower. There is still gathering places in our floor near the center seam, where they had to replace our whole vinyl floor on one side of the house and a cut place is still in front of the dishwasher were they didnt completely tack it down. Staples can been seen on the edges of where the new floor was laid down in a few places. They did not take the time to "color" in the edges of the baseboards that had to be added so it looks unfinished. There is still a small hole on the back wall in the kitchen where something happened and they just don't think its important to fix it even though its noticeable and I have had to place something over it to cover it up. Our kitchen sink has also started to rust over 2 months and was reported, but nothing has been done about that either.
