I have never had a disappointment at a dealership like this. We purchased a 2014 Volvo VNL and the whole deal hinged on them fixing the A/C. Tom L**** is the salesman who made the deal and required no assistance by others to make the deal. We originally went there to look at another truck, but he was very adamant that we needed this truck. We discussed it needed a couple things and he asked me how many I have bought and I let him know this would be our first. He said he was seventy something and he had been in this business since before I was born. What they do is once the deal is done, they go thru it front to back and fix anything that needs to be done to make sure it's ready for you to make money when you pick it up. He claimed the shop had it 3 days. I did my part, but they didn't do theirs. Nore will they honor it. That's the definition of being a shyster. We made this purchase at his expert advice. The first day we drove it, the ac condensor is spraying out freon. They rigged it. That is not fixing it. Also the second day the wheel seal went out, we had to have the repair done on the road at Kenworth. They said it had been like this for sometime, you can tell by the way it was. It didn't just happen. So that means they just cleaned this up as well. And we almost had a wreck in Tn on a bumpy section of road, we take it in to get it checked out and the Tie rod is completely wore out. They said when was the last time you had a DOT on this truck and I let them know and they said there is no way that could have passed inspection. It would have failed on the wheel seal and the tie rod. That's what doing buisness with Capital volvo is like. They make bad faith deals. I called Tom L**** and he said he was on Vacation, just work with him, he needed to talk his boss into it. I let him know he didn't have to talk anyone in to anything, this is fullfilling the order. I have employess and I hate someone didn't do their job, but I got to have this corrected. He said well I just need to talk to my boss in person and tie him down. Again, I said this is just fullfilling the order. I let him know it was real life to me. He said they had big wheels in from volvo and let that pass and we will get this taken care of. Then he finally calls back and he said My boss said to tell you sorry about your luck ****, shouldn't have bought a used truck and they offered me $300 to go away. I let him know this was about you fullfilling your order with me. This is a bad faith deal. Management doesn't return calls for over a week and so now I post this. They make fraudulent deals at Capital Volvo. I would strongly consider buying somewhere else. I have never had a vehicle purchase that ended in bad failth deal. They rigged it and no way is it possible for it to have passed a DOT inspection in that condition, but they are sending them out the door that way. We have not had the a/c fixed yet, but we have sent $2k in repairs that should have been fixed before we got the truck and the a/c whatever that ends up costing.

Hello and sorry to see your review and that this incident wasn't handled in a manner to suit you. For some reason our previous response does not show on this thread so *************** again so it doesn't look like a reply wasn't made as we always aim to please all our customers. As I see from your sales folder and invoice on this 2014 Volvo day cab stk #****** this truck was purchased without a warranty and noted on the invoice truck sold "as is" with a note in the folder stating customer refused warranty coverage when offered. However, we do try and make things right within reason if something occurs just after purchase. This truck like all trucks we sell have most everything on them inspected before they leave our shop as well as test drove for any issues. If the ac went out if would have happened after it left our facility. Once we were informed that the ac was not cooling our salesman offered to remedy the problem once you brought the truck back to us for repair but that never happened. Also no invoice was ever sent to us showing any repairs were ever done to the ac on this truck and we could not get in touch with you so in good faith we sent a check to you for $500 for good faith. If the truck had been brought to us this could have been resolved, not sure why the communication breakdown occurred because this is not how we do business. We do apologize for any issues you may have had.
