This review is for Henke property management and Fox Valley apartments. Henke property management has been managing this property for close to 4 years now. He is a long time friend of *************************. This place is full of black mold and spots on walls and ceilings were there has been leaks or appliances that were not fixed immediately. There are rats and roaches even though the tenants pay for an exterminator out of THEIR rent. The exterminator guy is a friend of his and his family member rents from Mr. ******************** at one of his other properties. I have talked with Mr. ******************** and ***** both and explained to them that my stove has only one burner that works without smoking. This was the original stove from were the apartment was built. I have asked that my dishwasher be fixed because it leaks and has never had a kick plate on it. My bathroom was painted over with some kind of paint that has been pealing off over the years and I have had to get a shower chair to sit in. I was told by the other owner when I moved in that the maintenance guy at that time( who was shot and killed by a tenant because he was on drugs and threatened to kill the tenant) that he had painted the bath tub black and she made him paint over it with white. When Mr. ******************** came here I did a walk through with him to show him everything in my apartment that needed to be fixed and he laughed. I told him about the stove and dishwasher multiple time and STILL HAS NOT BEEN FIXED. The apartments up front that caught on fire over a year ago still have not been completed and were never gutted to the ground. Trust me for ****** there are other places to rent from that will treat you right and do the right thing when it comes to their tenants. This place is a revolving door. Nobody wants to stay here long term because of the way they are treated. The only thing they have managed to do in 5 years is cut the grass and put out flowers. The inside of the apartments are were people live, not outside in the grass. BEWARE !
