1 starReturned my leased XC90 in perfect condition and leased a new XC90. A few weeks later received a bill for $400 because one tire was below the tread limit. I now have no way of disputing this and VCFS could care less. The tires have at lease *****k more miles to go before they are close to replacement. VCFS is more than happy to lose a customer for $400.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starHow do I begin? This company in no less than 6 months put a charge off on my credit report for an unpaid bill from a lease return. They claimed the car needed new tires (mind you car was less than 3 years old and not driven a lot) but when I had the car taken in for an inspection prior to return, according to the Volvo Dealer Technician, the tires were still in acceptable condition. Therefore I fought the bill with submitting numerous forms of proof, and from there never heard another word. They claim they called and sent mail, none of which was received. Therefore without any notice seriously deteriorated my credit. They are robots and have no remorse, claim they cant remove the charge off. I would never, and I said never ever, buy another Volvo.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starI have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life. I bought out my car at the end of my lease and, according to their own paperwork, should have received the bill of sale and title within 10 days. After three weeks nothing had arrived, so I called them to check on the status. They claimed the title was mailed out 10/25/23 but because it was coming from a such a long way (Alabama to *************) it could just take longer. I asked how it was sent and was told it went through regular mail. Not certified thus no way to check on it? I was told that if it didnt arrive within 30 days I could request a duplicate title. I asked how long that would take, and was told six to eight WEEKS from their date of request. I then requested a Bill of Sale, (which was never issued). They sent a letter stating the account had been paid in full. Not a bill of sale. I called back 32 days after the title was supposedly mailed out to request a duplicate and was told that request would go out immediately and I could call back the 1st week in January to check in it. I again asked for the Bill of Sale, which I received 10 days later, listing the WRONG amount. I called back 1/9/24 and was told thered been a delay in sending out the title request, which went out 12/27. A full month after I was told it had been requested. IF I get this duplicate title, it will have taken 5 MONTHS. What utter BS. I asked for a correct Bill of Sale, since the one I received listed ******** more than the purchase price, and my sales tax will go off the number in the bill of sale. I was told their number WAS the purchase price, because my last payment to them, which brought the number owed down to the amount I financed, was included as part of the purchase price. WRONG. I have a letter from them listing the buyout amount, exactly ******** less than on their bill of sale. I was told they would submit this issue for review and I should call back in 48 hours. 1 starScammy company! My bank mails a check to them 10 days before the due date. The address is in the same state as me so not far. They take days after receipt to post making my payment late if I don't stay on top of it. Defeats the point of auto pay. This is EVERY month! They have no way to accept electronic transfer from my bank so has to be snail mailed. They do this to try and force you to use their autopay. Look up reviews from their auto pay feature. If you give them payment info, they'll never stop charging you even after the lease is up. Good luck getting your money back -- you have to go through your bank to stop them. I love the cars but Volvo financial is a joke, esp for a luxury brand. After my lease is up, I'm going back to *********Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starVolvo financial is a nightmare to deal with and I will NEVER get another Volvo for as long as I live, even though I like their vehicles because of how frustrating Volvo financial is to deal with. They have scammed and overcharged me and call me daily changing the amount I owe even though I have a paper trail. A literal nightmare to deal with and their customer service doesnt know anything besides reading off of a script. A whole joke.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starVolvo Financial is a nightmare to deal with. I turned in my Volvo XC90 lease a month ago and they sent me a bill for $900 for a charging cord. I called and told them I could mail the cord or drop it off at the dealer and they claimed they already sold the car and that I was out of luck. This is after I asked for a lease extension which they wouldn't approve (every other manufacturer offers this). I had plans to buy another XC90 but can't stand the thought of having to deal with them again. I am moving on from Volvo for good and suggest others do the same.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starI sent them a bank certificate check to pay off my vehicle they sent it back to me. Saying they need my signature on the certificate check. The bank filled out the check for me and had everything filled out as required. Now they ask for more money to pay off my loan. Never do business with Volvo.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starHow would i describe VCFS? In one word Thieves. Zero Stars.VCFS doesnt care about their customers and they say it loud and clear with their actions. I did a lease buy out and financed my car through a credit union. The credit union mailed out the check and VCFS claimed they received it 2 days past the deadline and charged me an extra lease payment. The check was sent on June 29 and was received on July 18. ( Due date July 16), Unfortunately they receive regular mail to a P.O. Box and it could have sat there for a number of days. VCFS could care less of when the check was post dated, only the date when it was processed.They could have charged me a pro-rated charge for 2 days, but $419 is much better in their pockets. Bunch of thieves. They left a very sour taste in my mouth, which will not soon be forgotten. I recommend taking your business elsewhere, a place where the customer is appreciated and handled with care, not ripped off last minute.SHAME ON YOU VCFS for handling a simple transaction in the worst possible way.I could have been a customer for life but you took the dishonest route and for that you will not have any of my business or anyone I ever come into contact with.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starLeasing cars we always have trouble with service, rarely offered a loaner pretty much had to beg for one every time. We have always had two cars and they were never able to call the right people when cars were in for service, you could tell they just dont pay attention. Volvo Valet is NOT Volvo Valet, they charge you for it, so dont believe its complimentary, because it isnt.Our last two leases one ending in 2022 and the other about 1 year later in 2023, when we turned in our 2022 we were not charged a lease termination fee, somehow while we still had another ************ with Volvo it was paid, however when we turned in our last leased car (the 2023), we get slapped with a ****** Charge for Lease Termination Fee I asked why we were not charged that for our 2022 lease, and was told because ******** paid that for you. I then asked why didnt they pay for this? Why did I get charged for my second lease, but not the first and the guy on the phone said (His name was ******), because you didnt lease another car.I used to believe that Volvo was for life, but I am so disappointed in the treatment at the end of the lease. Billing practices do not make any sense. No one should be fined for not coming back and spending 900 per month on a lease.I also think its incredibly typical that they only respond to positive comments but not the negative ones. It just shows they dont give a ****.I will end up having to pay this charge, if I dont I was informed by Volvo that We will hold this invoice for 100 days and if you dont pay it we will send you to collections However I will get something from paying for this and that is forever negative advertising for Volvo and ********, I will tell everyone what we have been through, so the world knows!Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starZero stars.I made an extra lease payment by mistake. I called VCFS and they acknowledged my overpayment and said they'd create a refund request. While that request was pending, they applied my money toward the dealer payoff of the leased vehicle. They gave my money to a third party after I asked for it back. After I realized this, I asked them for an accounting of the payoff that included my extra lease payment as a line item credit. Four different phone reps put me on hold and hung up on me after 20+ minutes of hold time each. They never call you back. Just put you on hold, disconnect, then pray you won't call again. It's like dealing with lazy children.I intend to file a small claims suit over this. I was told flatly that I wouldn't be getting a refund check. I suppose we'll have to just wait and see.Volvo Car Financial Services
