1 starAn utter nightmare to deal with. They failed to properly endorse the payoff check, you can't get anyone other than a call center. I had to sign the odometer affidavit 3 separate times and they totally ignored the instructions for the lender that were sent to them 3 times.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starI had a ****************************************** the car at 35 months they had forced me to pay the last month payment! On top of which they charge a return car fee and extra mileages. Came down to over 2000$ to return.Never deal with them again!Very unpleasant staff. Dont care and disregard anything a costumer say. They wont help in anyway and will demand their money with extra fees!Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starI had a disappointing experience with Volvo Car Financial Services. The customer service was unhelpful and difficult to reach, and responses to inquiries were often delayed. Additionally, the billing process was confusing, with unexpected charges that were not clearly explained in the documentation.Despite being a loyal Volvo customer, this experience has made me reconsider my relationship with the brand. I expected a higher level of service and transparency from a company of this caliber. Unfortunately, my concerns were not adequately addressed, leaving me frustrated and dissatisfied.I hope VCFS takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements to better serve their customers in the future.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starDisaster. I have spent over 20 hours on the phone with volvo financial services trying to get my account closed out. It started with a toll violation that was wrongfully charged to my account. They still have not removed it even after I attached a receipt showing that I paid it. What is really shocking is that in the year 2024 Volvo will only accept documentation through the mail or fax. They do not have an email address. I am quite certain that they make things as difficult as possible so that people will give up and pay them money that is not owed.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starTotal nightmare to deal with. Antiquated systems and non-responsive. We opted to turn our Volvo in after it's lease ended as there were some quirks we didn't love about the electronics and our XC90 was woefully under powered. Trying to schedule the lease end inspection was very challenging and their vendor blew off the first appointment. Once finally turned in, the final lease termination payment has also been challenging. Can't wait to no longer deal with this company or Volvo in general. They also screwed up our title in that we kept getting notices from the State saying to submit a proper title. It's leased and not our title. Never had these issues with the numerous ***** vehicles we've purchased / leased over the years.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starAbsolutely the WORST place I've ever interacted with. I will never ever EVER recommend a VOLVO for the simple fact of this place. No customer service, no human empathy and the worst experience I've ever had returning a lease. I've leased 5 other times and nowhere near this experience. They are cold, distant people who could care less about anyone at all. I will never even look for a Volvo ever again! 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONEVolvo Car Financial Services

1 starAfter the financing is completed only then when you request a payoff do you find out that the finance company will only issue the title I the same financed persons name and not say to your wife or family member. This means to transfer the deed and gift the car you pay sales tax to the State twice-rip off buyer beware!Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starI leased a 2022 Polestar 2 and apparently Polestar Financial Services is actually Volvo Car Financial Services. I terminated my lease early because my experience with Polestar was less than stellar. I returned the car on June 5th to their dealership in ************ **********. Prior to the return of the car, I made my scheduled payment pending payoff by ********, to keep my payment history pristine (******** could not promise payoff would occur by the next payment date). The end result was an overpayment of close to $800.I previously called and spoke to 2 sperate agents prior to making my June payment, to confirm the time frame for a refund. In both instances and without any hesitation, I was assured that refunds take no more than 15 days. Nothing could have been further from the truth. Here we are now, almost three months post vehicle return (today is 8/30) and no refund check has been issued. I have called multiple times, most recently speaking to a supervisor named ********* on 8/23 who assured me that she would check the refund status and follow-up with me on 8/26 or perhaps as late as 8/27. No return call was made or received.I called again on 8/30 and spoke to *****. She acknowledged *********** notes from 8/23 and genuinely seemed embarrassed that a supervisor fell flat on their face and screwed up a simple task. ***** advised me that the refund was authorized as of 8/27, but as of today, 8/30 still no check has been cut. Now, due to the labor holiday, ***** stated that it is her belief that the check may not be issued until sometime during the following week.Having plenty of reason at this point to doubt anything that Polestar/Volvo tells me, I have asked for ********* to do what she already should have done, and call me back next week once she has made sure the check is mailed. I'm not holding my breath.Bravo Polestar/Volvo. You pooped the bed every step of the way, right up to the bitter end. It takes effort to get things this wrong. Congrats!Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starVolvo Car financial services department is a scam, looking to bill customers however they can . I really regret leasing my current XC60 because of this. This is my 3rd Volvo and will be my last and if anyone asks me how I like my car I will mention how I was taken advantage of by Volvo Financial Services, I have no small children and always stay under the mileage and basically am the only person in the car and use it mostly for work. Turned in my leased, under mileage, really good condition 2021 Volvo 6 weeks ago and received a bill today for $1,413.00. I got hit for a ding, scratch, 3 tires and what they are calling warning light maintenance, which I'm not even sure what that is because no warning light was on when I turned in the vehicle. They waived a couple of items to look good that were for 2 previous repairs which are outright lies as the car was never in for any repairs, nor was it ever in an accident. They grudgingly offered a settlement but stated it would be reported to the credit bureaus so not worth getting your credit knocked down 100 points for $400.00. This is no way to treat a current Volvo customer. I can no longer recommend ********************** to anyone that asks me. I am in the customer service business and this is no way to treat a customer.Volvo Car Financial Services

1 starVolvo is really a terrible company and their financial services department is even worse. I really regretted leasing my XC60 from these criminals. They screwed up my autopayment system which made me miss a payment for like 30 days and they reported it on my credit. Even after the lease has been done for a couple of years, it remains on my credit. Asked them to take it off and they blew me off.Volvo Car Financial Services
