    I contracted with Decorative Concrtet to resurface my pool deck in May of 2025. The owner ***** ******* assured me they could perform the work having performed that type of work many times before. He came to our home, showed us his product, took measurements and gave us a price of $7900.00, to which we agreed to. He assured us he was going to send his best crew out to do the job and it take about three days. The total time for the job was three weeks. His crew did show up within two days led by Ivory and another man. They started by taking a grinder and grinding certain places on the existing deck. They worked about two hours and said they needed a bigger grinder, so they left and did not return that day. Over the next two weeks they would start around 10:00-11:00 and stop around 3:00pm. Some days they did not show up at all. I watched their work which was sub par at best! I questioned Ivory many times about the thickness of the product going down and how it was too thin and was not sealed properly! He assured me over and over he would seal it properly. I attempted to text ***** to complain about the ******* ship but I received no response. It turned out I was texting to a land line. I called and left messages for ***** to call me, I never heard back! ***** told us to tip them generously because they did good work. I became exasperated with the ******* ship and argued with him. I told him there would be no tip unless the ******* ship did not improve. It did not improve and I did not here from *****. When the job was finished. So they said, Ivory said it be another thousand because we made some changes and ***** approved the additional thousand. I argued with him but finally like a stupid idiot paid him. The total was $8900 for one of the worst, most disgraceful jobs I have ever seen. I continued call But but to no avail. We are totally disgusted and unsatisfied with workmanship and customer service from *****. We intend to sue!

    Five days prior to receiving a notice of complaint, I had a home visit with the customer. They showed me six small areas of problem. None of these issues were covered by the warranty. Regardless of warranty, I agreed to repair these issues for the customer at no cost since they were so small. I left with the understanding We could return in about two weeks to make the repairs. We  also agreed to make a small color adjustment that would be more to the liking of the homeowner.The homeowner also asked us how some issues with his driveway could be done, perhaps later. We gave some direction for that issue. If permitted, we still plan to make the non-warranty repairs that were caused by a previous  coating.
