This problem has been going on since August 26, 2022. I received a mutual release form from Honest & true moving where we mutually came to an agreement of this company paying me the amount of $780.00 which still has not been paid to me and my mother. I have called this company on several occasions. Pam the administrative assistant screens the calls and the last time I had contact with someone from the office was last year November, and she stated that she didn't know when the boss/owner was going to pay me. This issue started in September 2020, when I sold a home and moved my elderly mother's furniture by this company Honest & true Moving (owned by a previous owner at the time) ****** ********* and contracted them to store my mother's furniture. This company was so highly recommended by the office of my realtor, that I never thought we would experience the nightmare that occurred, and are still dealing with. In November 2020, I spoke with Mr. ********* in reference to the status of my mother's furniture. He told me that her furniture was fine that everything is stored in his warehouse. He never told me that he was in the process of selling. Low and behold my furniture has been moved on different occasions to different storage facilities and somewhere there was a rodent infestation. I had pieces of furniture that was being chewed by rats. The company steam cleaned my furniture bit still has not paid me what they agreed to pay me. I have filed several complaints with different agencies. I have had to replace all of my mother's furniture due to this traumatic experience and still i have not received the money that was promised to us. I would appreciate your assistance. If you look at their reviews this owner promises to pay and never does. How can companies like this stay licensed.
