      Transaction occurred around April/May of 2023. I posted an ad on Alaska list for my husky malamute. The website texted my phone number and said I didnt know anything and was rude via text. I paid them **** via pay pal, and they eventually listed my ad for me. They proceeded to Email me that my ad was expiring and that I needed to delete it. I tried to delete it but pay pal had blocked me so I couldnt pay the $1.89 to delete my ad. I emailed Alaska list saying I needed help deleting my ad. They emailed me and said Im ********* Then they texted me and said ** banned from using the site. I have emails and photos and text messages to prove the unprofessional that occurred. Im very displeased and want my money back. And an apology from the owner.

      Up until recently, I have been a happy use of alaskaslist.com. Both as a poster, and a buyer. Now, however, out of my last 4 posts, to do any editing or publishing, you have to pay a $1.89 fee. I paid the last three through PayPal, but am still not allowed to edit or delete my post. This is infuriating as far as recordkeeping goes. The business is not being run as a business any longer which its Expired License status attests to.PLEASE HAVE ALL MY POSTS DELETED ASAP!

      I attempted to out a paid ad on his website and the payment process failed. His website for some reason still allows the ad to be posted and minutes later I get texts berating me on how Im a criminal and stupid with threats of prosecution. I tried to call him several times to discuss, but he wouldnt answer and continued sending texts of that nature. Terrible businessman. Also ads are never taken down, could that be grounds for a true complaint in court? I still get texts from an ad the ended 2 years ago.

      The business gave me six minutes to answer a question in order to complete my ad.When I replied, I got a response that I was a banned user Whoever these people have responding to their a** is extraordinarily rude, and very very unprofessional.I had to put in a dispute to get my money back for the ad

      I am a licensed business and attempted to place two featured ads with AlaskasList as we are new to the state and wanted to get our business name out there. The site owner required a verification photo to ensure we were not scammers, I complied and the first ad was posted. When I attempted to list a second ad a second verification photo was requested, I questioned this because the terms I received from the seller via text stated that only one would be required. They quickly responding saying only a scammer would question this and not comply, I tried to explain I would comply but was at work at that moment and would submit the photo that evening. They responded with BANNED USER. Despite calls/texts/emails to them over multiple days/weeks Ive received no explanation, no refund and they have disputed my requests for refunds with PayPal. This owner has gone so far as to create false links to show PayPal making it appear my ads are still posted when Im fact they disabled my account, disabled the ads and even blocked my IP address. This entire site is a scam, they take peoples money and dont supply the service, it seems the owner enjoys his power trip and this needs shut down. I wish I had researched what appeared to be a legitimate site further before paying or listing anything with them. Stay far away. (I have screenshots as evidence to support my above statement in entirety).
